TouchBack is real hair color in a marker. It's the fastest touch-up for gray roots ... ever! Dries in a minute and won't flake or rub off, even when brushed. TouchBack's marker delivers the perfect amount of color to cover gray roots instantly. It actually bonds to the hair, blending beautifully with permanent hair color for a totally natural look (unlike hair mascaras, crayons, gels and powders, which dull the hair and flake off when brushed). Stays on until shampooed out. TouchBack's formula uses certified hair colors, but without harsh chemicals - no ammonia or peroxide - so it's gentle on your hair. 8 salon-quality shades. 4 patents. 2 industry awards. Benefits:
TouchBack does not contain PPD (paraphenylendediamine). |

OK, yes, it's expensive, but WOW it's soooo worth it. I've been coloring my hair for a LONG time. In all that time, I've used numerous root "touch-up" products.
Nothing, and I do mean NOTHING works as well as Touchback.
It comes with a tiny comb that you use to lift the roots away from the scalp. You then apply the color like a magic marker. It's COLOR, not ink. The color goes on smoothly, no lumping...and looks so natural. Better yet, since you are lifting the roots away from your scalp, there's no scalp marks.
Expensive? Yes, but worth it.

Comments about TouchBack Hair Color Marker, Medium Brown, .27 oz:
This product is hard to put on and comb help a lettle.
If you are in hurry, it can be a mess.
Color doesn't soak up with first coat so need a few times to apply.
For this price I will buy wand (mascara brush type).

Comments about TouchBack Hair Color Marker, Medium Brown, .27 oz:
I was looking for a root touch up for grays because I had previously bought this "marker" for hair. The product does not adhere to the hair, most of it adheres to your skin/face instead. I know this is a temporoary fix, but the price is way to steep for what the product claims to do. You must apply many, many coats to cover the gray as well. I would never buy this again.

Comments about TouchBack Hair Color Marker, Medium Brown, .27 oz:
The TouchBack goes on exactly where you put it, so if the color is a close match to your dark hair it would work well. However, the medium brown leaves me with a dark line where I begin to apply the color. With some extra time, I can blend it down to the ends, but it dries very quickly and is difficult to blend even on wet hair. While this product is better than some cheap versions, the ColorMark liquid works much better for me. I apply just a bit to the roots and pull the comb away from the roots to blend. Voila - no more gray!

Comments about TouchBack Hair Color Marker, Medium Brown, .27 oz:
Easy to use, great match, hair feels silky as usual, no smell or stickiness. Saves quite a bit of money as I can now extend time between salon visits and is better for hair not coloring it so often.

It does not stick to my hair, nor is absorbed into the roots. They look just as grey after application, s they did prior to use.
A complete waste of money

Comments about TouchBack Hair Color Marker, Medium Brown, .27 oz:
I do not yet dye my hair, but at a little over 40, I'm starting to have a good bit of white running through it. I have long, very thick, wavy medium brown hair (with gold and auburn highlights). All of my life it's been one of my best features. In law school, I even had guys pass me notes telling me my hair was beautiful! Needless to say, I am in no rush to dye it (losing its natural color.. or what's left of it), which is why I love TouchBack. As soon as my hair dries after washing, I use the wide felt tip marker to "brown-out" the white hair at my temples and along the part in my hair. My husband was even complementary - and if he notices, it must work! :-) The color is a bit stiff at first, but as soon as it dries, just run a brush through it and you're good to go. FYI: if you have fine or oily hair, the dye might be too heavy for your hair. For thick, somewhat dry hair like mine, I love it.

Comments about TouchBack Hair Color Marker, Medium Brown, .27 oz:
I found this product to be very easy to use. I was not sure it would be after seeing the applicator but after doing it once, I found it was easy and not messy at all to apply. It does not darken the scalp and using the very tiny toothed comb provided it is easy to spread and blends well into the hair. I do think the price is a bit much, but as long as it continues to last as well as the first application - Then it should be well worth it.
