Dark Brown
TouchBack is real hair color in a marker. It's the fastest touch-up for gray roots ... ever! Dries in a minute and won't flake or rub off, even when brushed. TouchBack's marker delivers the perfect amount of color to cover gray roots instantly. It actually bonds to the hair, blending beautifully with permanent hair color for a totally natural look (unlike hair mascaras, crayons, gels and powders, which dull the hair and flake off when brushed). Stays on until shampooed out. TouchBack's formula uses certified hair colors, but without harsh chemicals - no ammonia or peroxide - so it's gentle on your hair. 8 salon-quality shades. 4 patents. 2 industry awards. Benefits:
TouchBack does not contain PPD (paraphenylendediamine). |

Comments about TouchBack Hair Color Marker, Dark Brown, .27 fl oz:
This product was very hard to apply. Seemed to be dried out. Had to press hard to get it to stick, and even then it was messy and went on my scalp and barely covered the gray. I think a brush type application would be better. This was more like a dried out marker.

Comments about TouchBack Hair Color Marker, Dark Brown, .27 fl oz:
I used this becuase I thought the marker would be easy. It was messy, made my roots stiff, and looked very bad. I then purchased and loved root essentials ([@]) It is dry, brush it in, and leave it. Contains natural vitamins, healthy oils, and spf for sun protection. Plus it lasted over 12 applications.

Comments about TouchBack Hair Color Marker, Dark Brown, .27 fl oz:
I can't live without this stuff. Don't understand why it is so hard to find, and I'm so glad that Drugstore/Beauty.com is now carrying it. My hair grows very fast, and my gray roots show in about two weeks after having them (professionally) dyed. My colorist says to try and wait 5-6 weeks before colorings, so without Touchback, I would be a mess. I guess it is expensive, but one tube lasts a very long time... and with none of the hassles of regular at-home dye, it is worth it. BTW - The marker (shown here) is a vast improvement over the original touchback wand. Much easier to use without getting extra color on your scalp. While it stays on great (and with none of that tacky feel of those "mascara-like" products), it washes out easily and completely with shampoo (key before the next professional touch-up.)

Comments about TouchBack Hair Color Marker, Dark Brown, .27 fl oz:
I have tried dozens of products to cover up my grey in between colorings and this is by far the best product I have ever used. I part my hair down the middle and this works perfectly to cover up the skunk trail down the middle of my head.

Comments about TouchBack Hair Color Marker, Dark Brown, .27 fl oz:
Although it is very easy to use--just pull off the lid and color your hair like you would any other marking pen, it didn't work for me. I used it to color the greys in my part, but it is so thin that it made my hair look thinner. I prefer Oscar Blandi Pronto Colore Root Touch-Up & Highlighting Pen because it has substance and looks much more natural. Watch out--this product bleeds onto clothing.

Comments about TouchBack Hair Color Marker, Dark Brown, .27 fl oz:
I have tried many of these touch up type items, and was hoping that this one would work. It didn't go on that easily;I had to keep applying it. I part my hair down the middle, and it was difficult to apply without getting it in my part. I've had better luck with a non-toxic Magic Marker. If a company could come up with hair color in an applicator more like that, meaning the big, thick kind, I would be sold. Until then, I'll keep using my Magic Marker, and not buy another one of these.

Comments about TouchBack Hair Color Marker, Dark Brown, .27 fl oz:
Color looked okay, but not any easier to use or longer lasting than hair color crayons; comb tool was of little use; color seemed to come off easily; too little of product for the money.
