I am really impressed by this product! It does what it says and makes your pores look smaller! If you are looking to smooth your skin's appearance this will definitely do that, but it will not cover skin imperfections like discolorations or acne. I am 40 with oily/combination skin and very large pores on my nose and upper cheeks and this seriously works magic! I have 2 of these, one that I use getting ready and one for my purse. It is very white/light as others have mentioned, but the trick is not to add very much. Even so, I think it must work best with fair/light skin and medium skin at the darkest.
Some have mentioned it settling into creases or looking cakey, but if you follow my tips below, I think you will get much better results.
Here's how I use it now after some trial/error:
1. Take the lid off, hold on to the powder puff lightly and the bottom of the container & shake lightly. There should be dots of powder on the puff when you are through; if the whole puff is full of powder, that is way too much.
2. Next, the trick is to use the powder puff very sparingly....I actually use about 1/4 of the puff on the first spots and rotate the puff so I'm not putting too much on any one spot. The spots I dab (not rub) the powder onto are my nose, the creases on both sides of my nose, my eyelids (before eye makeup to give it staying power) T-Zone and chin.
3. After I have dabbed the powder on those places, the excess powder on the puff is gone and I use the whole puff to lightly smooth out the 'dabs' of powder using a light downward stroking motion.
This gives me the perfect application & makes my skin look much smoother and more 'poreless' than it really is. Also, if you use it this sparingly, it will last much longer. In the summer, I occasionally follow this with a little bit of bronzer since it is such a light product.
I did give this product 5 stars, but would definitely buy it in a darker shade if it was available and a pressed powder compact for purse would be nice too! :)

Given the price, I probably would not buy it again as it's just not worth it. Also, it gives a whitish cast to the skin, which looks weird even on my ultra-pale skin tone.

I was looking for a finishing powder that wouldn't feel cakey or accentuate my large pores. This powder works for me, because it is finely milled and glides right over my pores without making them stand out more. You need to use a light hand and the right brush and only put the minimum amount on your brush when applying or it may look bad. Less is more, and you can always add a bit more where needed. I am very pale, so the color of this powder works for me, but I'm not sure how it would look on a darker skin tone. I find myself reaching for this on days I want to keep my pores minimized, which is almost every day! Keep in mind, it's not a miracle product and won't make your pores disappear. It will help make them a little less noticeable and definitely not worse.

I was pretty satisfied with this product. It is a very fine powder and goes on nicely. I have a hard time not getting to much of it though. I think the holes in the little sifter top should be made much smaller and that may help with this issue. Controls my shine all day and I have combination skin. I like it but probably will keep trying other brands to find one I love.

I bought this to replace my favorite powder which they have discontinued and it works very well. I use this as the final step in my make-up routine and it leaves my skin feeling like silk. Only very little is needed or you may look like you have powder on. I love that there is no talc and the ingredients are very good for the skin.

I tried to use over my LG tinted moisturizer(she no longer makes), white lines around my hair line and nose, you couldn't blend it in. I am older and need to hide my pores but even using this over primer or alone didn't work for me. Sorry loss of my $$

Pores? What pores? Based on this powder I don't have any! This powder makes my skin look silky, soft, smooth, and flawless. It controls oil breakthrough as well as any issues sunscreen tries to inflict on my foundation. I LOVE this powder. I've tried many "HD" powders - this one hits the ball out of the park. In 110+ degree heat, I look cool as a cucumber.
