I like to try new trends, so after seeing matte finish nail polish in a few mags I decided to give it a try. I put this over my Chanel blue satin nail polish, a very dark blue. It was different, and kind of cool, to see your nails go from shiny to matte as they dried. I put it over a dusty rose pink on my toes also to try 2 different colors with it. i really didn't like it, though. It's a matter of personal preference but the matte look is just not for me!

I'd been looking around for matte nail polish colors that are free of the bad chemicals, but couldn't justify paying $12-15 per nail color for a "trend." So glad I waited! This Matte Finish can be applied to any color you already have in your collection and the results are instant and creates a high fashion look. The [$] price is far worth it, and the bottle is pretty big and supposedly lasts 30 months once opened. So, since it's something I'll use occasionally, it'll last the trend. My only con is that even though it's a "3 free" product, the smell is VERY strong upon opening the product.
