I tried the silver lining color combo after my local aesthetician who carries JI suggested it. I have light skin (use JI pressed foundation in either light beige or warm silk), brown hair, and dark brown eyes. I was looking for eyeshadow to wear with blue clothing. Light blue shadow is too 80s, and dark blue is too extreme for my light skin. I was skeptical at first, especially because I prefer a matte texture and the light grey shadow is a little sparkly. But it looks fabulous on, either for day or night. I wear the light grey shadow on my lid, and the medium grey in the crease. For liner, I use either black with a touch of purple or the dark grey shadow from the kit. The only drawback is that the light grey shadow is hard to apply. Even if I wet my eyeshadow brush and press shadow onto my lid (rather than sweep it), it still takes several coats. I don't have this problem with the other two colors for some reason. So I can't use silver lining if I'm in a hurry. Aside from that, it's fabulous!

This is great for a grey smokey eye. Deeply pigmented, blends well, lasts all day!
