I am a product junkie. I have tried everything and am extremely adept at the application of cosmetics. I use brow color everyday. I have very fair skin and blonde eyebrows, so I need a bit of definition. This color is perfect for me.
HOWEVER...
If I have any more than a *fraction* of the color turned up for use it breaks off. Period. This is an extremely dry formula, and therefore I lost several small pieces to the sink. Even without losing those sections, I'm guessing the actual product in this pencil to be about an inch long. This is not only a rip-off, it's an egregious waste of packaging and money. Bummer.

I use this daily and have both the taupe and medium brown. I have medium brown hair with a lot of red in it and I find the taupe a little light for me (it can make my brows look dusty lol). I prefer the medium brown because I like a more defined "groomed" brow (my own brows are pretty sparse). The medium brown is a chocolate brown with no red or orange at all. it would work great with black hair (i used to have black hair so this is from experience). The taupe would be great in my opinion for blonde, light redhead, or sandy brown hair. There is zero red or orange in either color. I wish the pencil had a way to sharpen the tip just a little but it's still a thin pencil so no biggie I guess. It's waterproof and doesn't smudge even on my oily skin and I really like the spoolie brush on the end. Great product,I highly recommend.

I have lost a bit of my brows, especially the outer corners over time
"as is the case so often when we get a little older" so I am always looking for a product for my brows that has some staying power! This tarte pencil doesn't disappoint! It goes on easily and is very natural looking (color wise) and it wears like a dream!
Give it a try! I think it will become your new favorite!

This is a good natural brow pencil. The colors are very natural as well. It's a little bit difficult to apply, and I think I could get a sharper point with a traditional pencil, but I like the brush on the other end. I'm continuing to use it but I'm not sure if I'll buy again.
