I love Bare Minerals. Everything I wear, from foundation to concealer to blush to eyeshadow, is Bare Minerals.
That said, I am SO glad they finally came out with a leak-prrof jar! I am a bit of a klutz in the morning and I dropped mine constantly, and then half my jar of blush ends up on my floor. So as soon as I saw this I bought it. However, it's not perfect. Most times when I open the jar the holes are already uncovered, even though I lock the cover in place every time I use it. Most of the time it's only open half way, and there hasn't been a drastic spill yet. But I have to be overly careful when I pick up my foundation.
Four stars because it's a great idea but needs work. I hope they improve it, and I hope they add it to all their powders!

Unlike BareMinerals sheer, BareMineral Matte does not have coverage at all. After I used up"Matte", I went back to Sheer one, which has proven for coverage, but looks very sheer.

This powder has a heavy, unappealing look on my skin. I like the sheer or transluscent powders for a more natural look, after using a concealer on any dark spots or blothes.

What happened to Bare Minerals? It used to be the only makeup that covered my blemishes. I apply it only to find to my horror, that my blemishes are showing with the matte finish. I'll have to find another product.

My Dr recommended I use this product because there was no fragrence, etc. Boy do I hate this product IMO there is nothing positive about it. Be it the finish, coverage, application. Thankfully I no longer need to use it. Back to liquid foundation. I suppose if u have really bad skin this will cover it. Not naturally but it will cover it.

I switched from liquid foundation to this and I am so happy. This formulation is great for my oily skin. I also have redness and broken capillaries to cover and this does an amazing job. I use a concealer brush to apply it under my eyes and on red areas then I use a flat powder brush to dip, tap and swirl it all over my face. It keeps me matte, stays on and does not make me break out.
I have a medium skintone which tans easily with subtle olive/yellow undertones and this shade is great for me, if not very slightly orange (not enough to bother me). I tried Golden Medium too, which was way too yellow.
If you are going to use this you need to exfoliate very well or use amoisturizer under it, since it clings to flaky skin. I use Jason Lightening Vitamn K lotion and it looks amazing.

I've been hooked on Bare Minerals since I stopped in a shop and tried it out almost 5 years ago. I love the new rotating lid on this foundation. I won't go back to the old container. I wish all the products had the same top! (Especially the tragically difficult eye shadow.) I prefer to use this with a foundation base from another brand (theirs does not react well with my skin).

Nice light makeup that evens out my skin tone. Can be applied light or heavy for different degrees of cover. Natural looking. My face breaks out less when I use it. Wish it would come in a more convient container that wouldn't require a screw on lid. Still love it!
