Apply RapidLash® to the base of the upper eyelashes using the applicator brush. The eye should be completely clean of any make-up or eye creams. Start from the inner corner of the eye outwards, directly on the base of your eyelashes. RapidLash® is to be used once daily in the evening before bedtime. Please Note: RapidLash XL and RapidLash items have a three (3) year shelf life unopened from the manufacture date. I've been looking at Rapidlash for nearly 6 months, reluctant to make a purchase due to several negative reviews. I am sensitive to so many ingredients!. Finally, a leap of faith. The first time I put it on I was sooo careful, I put a very small amount and then waited for burning to begin. Nope. No burning. No bloodshot eyes in the morning. Nothing! So I continued. In about 2 weeks time I started to notice that my lashes started to get a bit longer, it is most noticeable in the outer corners. I'm on my 3rd week and hoping to continue seeing the results. A word of advise to those trying for the first time - don't go all out, test a very small amount and not over the entire eyelid! GOOD LUCK!!! =)

There are two formulations for Rapidlash. A couple of years ago there was a lawsuit that forbade Rapidlash from using the effective formula, which utilized Promaxyl. The suit was brought and won by the people who make Latisse. So Rapidlash was forced to reformulate and they now use a different chemical. Bottom line….Promaxyl works, the other stuff doesn't. the tube pictured on this site says it has Promaxyl in it, but I suggest you look carefully at the tube you receive. If it doesn't have Promaxyl, return it. It will not work.
If it does, then I would recommend it.

I was skeptical at first, but after about a month of use, I have noticed my lashes growing longer and thicker. I haven't been the best at putting it on every night, so even for someone like me that doesn't do it everyday, it works.

Used to love this product, but have noticed with the last purchase that it no longer produces the desired results. Now I see why, seems the ingredients are not the original & the ingredient that worked is no longer in the product. Very sad, loved the original, will think twice about re-ordering this product.

I put this on at the base of my lashes (just like eyeliner) at night before I go to bed. My eyelashes have gotten stronger and longer and I don't have so many fall out now. This is a fine product and I recommend to anyone who wants to experience long, luxurious eyelashes.

At first I was dissapointed when I didn't see much happening in the first 3 weeks. I bought it mainly for my eyebrows, and although it doesn't help where there is no hair, it does thicken up where I do have hair. I have extremely sparse eyebrows, to the point where I got them tattooed. I hate the unnatural tattooed look, but otherwise I look like a creepy alien. Anyway, as I applied it to my eyebrows, I did it to my eyelashes as well, just to see if they would grow longer as promised. They're not insanely long, but I can see the difference. They are a bit longer, much thicker and darker too. After I bought it I did some reading about this product, and I was sad to find out on a website that does product reviews, that it was basically rated as low as possible. ( Paula's opinion, if that means anything to anyone reading this) I'm glad I continued to use it to find it fir myself if it works.

I am reviewing the original formula for this product. It was AMAZING!!! I mean grew crazy long, thick lashes in no time. Unfortunately...
I read recently that the makers of several eyelash growth product companies (including RapidLash) were sued by Allergan (the makers of Latisse) for infringing on their patent. I think the result was a reformulation (or at least the removal of the active ingredient) of the other eyelash growth products. Now, unfortunately, the only thing left in the tubes is a bunch of nothing! At least nothing that will grow long, thick eyelashes.
I have not actually tried the new formula but, from everything I've read, it doesn't work.
If you can get your hands on RapidLash's original formula, it works wonders... and for a fraction of the cost of Latisse.

I agree with a previous reviewer - this does not work. I used RapidLash a few years ago with great results, in fact, I stopped using it because my lashes had gotten so long they were brushing against my eyeglasses and I figured that was long enough. I thought I would have the same results this time, but that did not happen. There was hardly any product in the tube and what little I could get out was ineffective. Perhaps because of the reformulation; maybe I just got a bad tube. Either way, I will not be repurchasing this product.

I've been using this product since Oct. 2013 and apply it on clean lash base each night before I go to bed. Be patient and wait the 4 weeks for results but you will definitely see noticeable length. I didn't notice thickness but am really happy with the results. Each tube lasts a good 4 months or so.

Takes a month or so to see the results, but KEEP using it. I now use it every other day just to maintain - once your lashes reach a certain point, they don't keep growing. I love the longer, fuller lashes though.
