I expected the color to be much more purple... it is more brown with a hint of purple. It is also metallic, and I would prefer it to not be. Overall though, a solid product just like all of the other BE liner shadows.

I use Bare Minerals liner shadows all the time and love them. I have their angled brush, which makes applying it so easy to control and blend.
My gripe with this one in particular is that it's described as a "plum brandy" shade, implying that it's in the purpley family. Unfortunately for me, since I wanted something in a plum shade, it's actually just another brown. It's a lighter brown, with a little coppery shimmer to it. It's more boring than even that sounds. But there's not even a hint of anything plum in this liner. Maybe mine was mislabeled. But just a heads-up, in case you are ordering this in hopes of getting a deep plum shade.
