Wash face with warm water, massage a quarter-sized amount of Hydroplane Shave Cream, a foamless cream, onto wet face, shave while adding warm water, and then rinse with warm water. Want to heat things up? Blend with an equal amount of Hot Towel Pre-Shave Treatment before you whip out the razor. Constantly adding warm water to Hydroplane on face increases slickness of formulation, eliminating razor burn. For Best Results: Shave with a quarter-sized amount and add lots of warm water while shaving to increase lubrication. |

I've tried just about every high end and budget shave cream/gel there is over the years, and I can easily say that this one deserves high remarks. While I still think Jack Black's Beard Lube is, without question, the cream of the crop- this one is almost as good and is a slightly better value overall, so I've made a switch to it for the time being. The only difference between the two as far as I can tell is that Jack Black provides a smoother, more comfortable shave as the solution stays on your face through repeated strokes when necessary, whereas with this, after one or two strokes if you miss a spot you will most likely need to re-apply more solution to avoid discomfort. You can't go wrong with either really, and they are the only two shave solutions I would ever recommend to anyone.

I received a sample of this product and thinking my men wouldn't care, I used it on my legs. The product had a subtle scent and made my legs slick. My razor really shaved close and my legs were well conditioned for a day. So I bought some and offered it to my men who complain constantly about shaving. They loved it. Their faces are not as irritated. It seems to feel clean after using. And moisturizes too.

I originally bought Hydroplane Shave Cream for my boyfriend, then one day when I was out of my shaving cream I used his -- Needless to say I'm going to have to buy us each our own now. This stuff is awesome. It rinses off easy, doesn't clog my razor, and makes my legs feel velvety & super smooth. It's definitely not just for the boys, give it a try girls -- trust me you will not be disappointed!

Although I like the shave creams that lather I notice I get a better shave with these non-foaming types of formulas like Hydroplane. It's similar in texture to the Sharps shave cream or Jack Black's Beard Lube. While those are good I think this is the best. I can run my razor over the same spot multiple times without experiencing the slightest burn or rash. Amazing stuff. I have got several of my friends hooked on it too!

If you're one of the growing number of guys that shave their head I can tell you first hand, this is the product to buy. By far the best of all the foams, creams and oils I have tried.
You only need to apply a very thin film and it has amazing lasting power that allows you to go over the same spot multiple times to get a really close shave. And it's not at all greasy so cleanup is painless.
The price may seem a bit high but the package is pretty big and you use a tiny amount so it lasts a long time.

I have searched for the best shave cream forever and this is the best I've found. Razor glides across your face, very smooth shave. Cut down on my ingrown hairs and razor burn dramatically. I won't use anything else. previously used Jack Black beard lube, which is excellent, but this works best for me.
