I use this after washing with natural shampoo and conditioning with Kinky Curly Knot Today. My hair has soft ringlets from the top of my head to the end of my very long and VERY curly corkscrew hair. I don't need much because I leave both products in my hair and follow with a little bit of Kinky Curly gel. The smell is is strong initially but fades to a very nice scent. I get compliments on how great my hair smells. With most products, my hair is frizzy, but not anymore! It contains no scary chemicals so yay!

I've been using this for about a week now and I am thrilled. Every single day has been a Good Hair Day! My hair is soft and shiny and bouncy---not a bit of static or frizz or limpness. I'm in my 40s and it looks like the hair I had in my 20s. It's a cream that you scrunch into your hair. but it dries nicely, not stiff or sticky or greasy. And on top of its stellar performance, it's also gluten-free, cruelty-free, and has no parabens/sulfates/other chemical stuffs. It's only drawback is that it has a very strong herbal/patchouli scent that I like, but is very strong when you use it. It does lessen during the day though. Hands down, this is a winner for me.

I have very thick, long, curly hair. I use this product as a leave in along with kinky curly curling custard and my hair looks amazing! People are always asking to touch my hair or commenting on how soft and good it smells. The smell is great if you are the person walking past me, but to constantly have it in my face is a bit too much. Minus 1 star. With hair that sticks out 7 inches on either side of my face- a product with a weaker scent would be nice.

I have coarse wavy hair and felt like this was not conditioning enough for my hair type. This may be a great product for fine hair as it definately does not weigh hair down and it does smell great. I think its just not conditioning enough for someone with my hair type.

This product is perfect; it makes my hair shiny and soft. It keeps me free of tangles even if I don't wash my hair the second day, and I adore the earthy, patchouli scent.
note: I don't have dry hair and I don't use heated appliances so I use this for detangling my kinky waves before air-drying. It works wonderfully in this capacity!
