I received a sample of this and threw it in my travel kit. I am so bummed to be on vacation now and suffering with this stuff. I do not have sensitive skin, but this stuff burns like crazy every single time I use it. Online reviewers seem to rave about it, but I hate it and can't wait to trash this before I head to the airport :( I guess it's uber-expensive, too.

I love this cream. It is pricey, but completely worth it. It smooths out my skin and it feels great after using it. I highly recommend!

I didn't notice any results after going through a whole jar (about 5 months). I mean, it did soften my skin but that's it. No visible results on fine lines, radiance, etc. Also it smells like a diaper. I won't repurchase.

This product has an awful, and strong, smell. I would not purchase it again, simply because of the smell. While I like the consistency, the way it soaks in to my skin, and the way my skin feels in the morning, I just cannot bear the fragrance.

I received a sample in a gift with purchase from Beauty.com. I use high end products on my 52 year old face, always. This is an expensive cream but well worth the money as compared to other brands I've been using. My winter skin was looking dull and dry. My usual was running low. I felt I needed something new to awaken the glow. I had saved the foil from my sample for future consideration. In one week my skin is more smooth,the lines softened, the glow is back. This is not greasy or heavy. But light so I can slather it on, however a little goes a long way. It is 1.7 oz so I feel like I've made a good investment. It has a pretty scent that makes me think of the east. I love it!!!!

I got a sample of this cream, read the directions and saw that it could be used on the backs of hands. I used the sample twice on the backs of my hands a couple of days apart and it truly made a noticeable improvement with two uses. I have friends my age whose hands look very old and I'm trying to keep mine from getting that way. Came back to buy it but found it a bit expensive on this trip. Wish they would sell it in a smaller size. But I'm sure I will end up buying it down the line, as it truly works!

I decided to use this because it's the middle of snowmageddon here in DC, I was low on my l'occitane precious cream and it was time to break out samples. I don't know if it's possible that it is because it was a sample pack (particularly in light of the other review beneath mine), but the smell of this was just awful...sour. I actually had to wet a towel and immediately wipe it off my face. What I opened and used certainly did NOT smell like baked goods.

This stuff is fantastic. I usually use the Lancome for Men line, but after applying this in the morning and evening for three days in a row there were noticeable results. My skin was signficantly smoother and more even-toned.
It smells pretty good, too. A friend said it smells like "baked goods", so it's not perfumey.
For the budget buyer, this actually has pretty good value, because you don't need to use much. Literally two or three pea-sized amounts on your fingertips will cover your entire face.
I will buy this again when I run out.
