I totally agree with the other reviewer. This is a beautiful color, matte, with glitter. I find the glitter pieces too large and end up everywhere. Although the primer I used (urban decay), application is no issue - it looks great, but very attention-getting. Intense color. I'm a total makeup junkie, and I have such a hard time removing this color! I'm always left with a teal crease. Very resistant to makeup remover. Unfortunately, this eyeshadow is just not as nice as other nars shadows. Much nicer in the case.

I can make about any eye shadow work, but I had to work too hard with this one. The color is spectacular, but......those enormous, boulder-sized glitter chunks are horrible. Despite trying Tropic with several wet to dry bases, the glitter just falls off. Sure, it looks pretty in the pan, but don't let that fool you. It was also a bit difficult to remove. The color slightly stained my lids. NARS shadows are generally fantastic, but this one is the exception to the rule. Skip Tropic and try another color.
