For those of you who are saying that the brush is too hard and scratchy, please understand that this is a push brush. You're not supposed to be drawing a line by gliding the brush across your lash-line (that calls for a different style of brush). You're supposed to get a bit of gel liner on this brush, push the brush into the base of your lashes, wiggle it a little, then remove the brush, move to the next "blank" section of your lid and push the brush into the base of your lashes again. Repeat these steps while moving along your lash line and you'll end up with a natural line that looks like you have full lashes (as opposed to an obvious "cat eye" or liquid line). Hope this helps.

I agree with previous reviewer who said this brush is TOO HARD and feels like it is SCRATCHING MY LID! I intended to order the "Full-edged liner" as that one is ANGLED and works PERFECTLY and is supple and giving (I already own one) but ordered this by mistake. It LOOKS like the full-edged liner from the pics on line. I did NOT know that this was a different brush until my order arrived. I decided to try it anyway and it was INSTANTLY CLEAR that I could NOT use this stiff, scratchy brush on my eye area.
I will take the suggestion to use for brows mentioned by one reviewer although without the angle I don't see how it can be of much use there either. I hope they will exchange for the brush I really wanted if not.

I bought this brush because I've lost all my eye lashes and eye brows due to chemo. This brush does an excellent job of letting me control the amount of powder for eye lining. I specifically like it for the lower lashes because just a little bit of color makes it not so obvious that I'm bare. Excellent price too!

I bought this brush thnking I was buying a eyebrow brush. It was soft ans thin and I thought this will never work. I didn't want to mess with returning and you ca never have too many brushes. I gave it a try on the eyebrows and WOW, I love it. Maybe even better than the orginal eyebrow brush. Now I have a eyebeow brush and a very good eyeliner brush, 2-n-1.

The edge is great for lining under my lower lashes (using it length-wise) and then using the broad side is great for darkening my entire lid (or however much I want to darken) and for getting the color right up to my lashes.
