This product is more suitable for normal, combination and dry skin. The light scrubbing grains are good for gentle, daily exfoliation and cleansing, but doesn't compare to the grainier microdermabrasion products you use weekly. The formula leaves your skin soft, but a bit filmy. Therefore, if you have oily skin or are acne-prone, I would not recommend this product.

I have sensitive skin and roseacea, so I have a hard time finding refining products that don't irritate my skin.
This cleanser effectively cleans my skin, leaves it feeling soft and naturally moisturized, and although it doesn't have the scrubbing grit you tend to associate with an exfoliant, certainly has the effect of refining the skin.
