I like a thin, clean eyeline. I've been a big fan of the Smashbox eyeliner pencils but decided to give this a try. Originally I bought the navy, but came back and bought both an additional navy and smoke for my travel kit. I like the clean results -- it goes on smoothly and is steady in my hand. It stays all day, my only complaint (and the only thing keeping me from rating it 5 stars) is that I have to work at it to remove it. Other than that it is great.

I have used eyeliner for 40+ years & this pencil stands out. The creaminess of the product is perfect & the sponge attachment blends it perfectly from a sharp line to a 'smokey' kohl-look. I love the color "Smoke"--it is a dark charcoal, not a harsh black.
There is no tugging of the skin around the eye and the liner comes off easily at night. I can't recommend this enough! Try it!

I am super picky when it comes to Eyeliners and I was very happy with this one. Better than other more expensive ones that i've tried. Smoke is a nice dark gray color.
