Great for travel as it doesn;t melt in my purse. Not a "gel" for security purposes (like lipstick). Great color and very matte which is hard to find. I do agree with the previous reviewer that it is more mauve than "Berry " but it is a great color for me! Eggplant and Malt are also good but darker.

Berry is not a good name for this color. It is more mauve. It works well as a liner/filler, very matte. I use it as a base and top with gloss for a longer lasting look then gloss or lipstick alone.
