I purchased this on a whim not knowing anything about it. At 43 my skin just isn't quite the same. I bought this and their toned (tinted) day cream. I started using both and did break out notably enough that I almost quit using them until I read that this was typical of this intensive treatment. I'm now at 3 weeks and the breakouts have stopped and it has reduced blemishes and redness. My face really does feel good and look better. It's easy to use and I'm already thinking ahead to what I'll use between these intensive treatments. I've bought a lot of skin care products over the years, in all different price points, and this is the only one that A) I've seen any difference after using and B) has inspired me to write a review! It's pricey but at least worth it!

While this DOES worsen the problems at first, and it took some time to get used to the initial itchiness, I believe my skin will be much better off over the long term. It dries out zits that are on the surface and speeds the cycle of those I can feel underneath the surface. My acne is cystic in nature and VERY stubborn. I use this every morning and evening, and apply Arcona Night Breeze twice a week in addition. I think this spray brings stuff to the surface so that it can be dealt with, instead of burying zits to emerge later. I've only been using it two weeks and I've already purchased my next bottle to make sure I follow their suggestion of four 28-day treatments per year. My skin isn't perfect yet, but it's drastically improved. So far, I've loved everything from Dr. Hauschka!

the first 2 weeks is hard- because the treatment assists the skin's cleansing process- so it purges impurities under the skin. But keep using it- you then transform to amazing clear and glowing skin. Really curbs oil production. The directions call for NO other treatments at night- which is difficult since the mist is so light- you don't think it will be enough to treat you skin. Be strong- it does- let you skin cleanse itself with the help of this product. In 4 weeks you will be so glad you did.
I bought the one for sensitive skin for my neck and chest, since it treats "occasional" blemishes and reddness- so far so good!
