I wanted to like this product so much, based on its description and reviews by others. I used it every day for a week and a half, and finally faced the fact that it just wasn't for me. I expect my face powder to leave a flawless matte finish; this one does not finish my face properly and, in fact, leaves me looking like a vampire (and a sparkle-y vampire, at that). It's also very annoying to me that it goes on cold (yes, the powder feels COLD and WET, which I guess is the "magic"). On the positive side, it is a nice, light powder and didn't make me break out, and the sparkle effect isn't overwhelming. But from the Prescriptives brand and the price, I expected so much more. I won't be using it again.

I love this powder! I did not buy it for the "covering up" so it's the only reason why I put that as a "con". So if you are looking for something like that, buy the tinted version. I love that this sits well on top of my makeup and leaves it nice a matte with a touch of shimmer that gives my face a glowy look. =) I love it! Like I said on the title, I first bought this two years ago and I wear makeup 5 days out of the week most of the times and i have yet to finish my jar. It's huge and well worth the money!

This is great powder. I have been using it for many years and just love the "glow" it gives my skin. Just recently tried the Smashbox Halo powder because everyone was raving about it but I didn't like it at all. Will stick with Prescriptives Magic!!
