does work if you are only using this. You definately need foundation. I bought it because I saw it advertised as something you could wear alone. Not for over 50 crowd.

This was way too dark to wear under my regular makeup. I guess if you wore it alone, it might be ok. Next time, I will get the spackle with no color.

I purchased this based on the reviews. I am 57 and fair. I thought this primer would smooth out the fine lines while giving be a slight glow. The slight glow is great, but the color collects in my fine lines and accentuates them. Absolutely cannot use on face. I do not want to throw away anything so I use it on my neck and chest for a little glow.

I have the deluxe size of this that I purchased elsewhere, and up until recently I had stopped using it in favor of Smashbox's Photofinish primer in bronze. I ran out of that about a week ago and while I was waiting for my new bottle to come, I picked LG's Tinted Spackle back up. I think the reason I stopped using it before was that it was a little too sheer for me and at the time I was having issues with my skin. Now, my skin is really good and this gives me the perfect amount of dewy, bronzey coverage. Now that the weather is warmer and I'm not wearing a full face of foundation, I find myself reaching for this product all of the time for some sheer, lightweight coverage. I use a gel or cream blush (BB or Tarte) on top of it and some BB powder bronzer and my face looks bronzed and flawless. I will definitely be reordering more of this and I highly recommend it

I like this tinted Spackle better than the colorless Spackle. It is not dark and makes the perfect basecoat. I then apply Geller's Balance 'N" Brighten...in Fair.

I have used other primers that I like just as well, but since this has some color to it, I like it for use under foundation that I use with a little more color in it. I don't use foundation on a regular basis, only when I'm going out usually on the weekends, and in the summer I will use a foundation a few shades darker for some color on my face and so this primer is good for that purpose.

I saw this on[...] and decided to try it by getting a smaller bottle here. It does seem to seal all the moisturizers and such in and give my skin a healthy glow. On Saturdays, for home and shopping, I just wear this as my foundation. Coverage is not as good as make-up but is great for my "casual" day. On regular days, I wear it under my mineral make-up and it seems to make it go on smoother. I love this product!
