Even though I liked the look of the product, it does not last long on the lips and it certainly the contents certainly does not lat long enough to justify the cost. Not worth the price.

I adore lip and cheek stains for their "natural" look, and, to me, there's nothing prettier than a rosy flush of color to makes eyes sparkle and skin glow. I've tried many brands of stains, and almost all of them look blotchy and uneven on my cheeks, and appear more like symptoms of a skin disease than something I applied purposely for cosmetic enhancement. Stila Convertible in Cherry appears on my skin as an even, sheer peachy red that's perfect for my warm-toned skin. My coloring is "medium" and, regardless of my use of sunscreen, during sunny weather it's "tan." For reference, the Cherry color is similar to Tarte Cheek Stain in Tickled, but the Cherry Convertible has more concentrated, less sheer, pigment, and it works perfectly on lips. For my cheeks, it's a very light gel that feels soothing on my skin, spreads easily without drying, and sets perfectly without obvious edges. For my lips, it feels like a smooth gel gloss, and it's just gorgeous. It's not drying at all, which is unusual for a stain, and it can be applied sparingly for a touch of color, or layered to get a bright, cherry red. The most surprising thing for me is the evenness in color application, because most stains soak into dry areas and slip off oiler areas. This stain truly lasts all day, and it's exactly what I need for a natural, healthy, happy look that works for "no makeup" days or evening events. I usually avoid scented products on my face, but this product is lightly scented to smell like Maraschino Cherries. I like this for lips, but I wasn't sure if it would bother my cheeks or not, but fortunately it doesn't. I can't smell it when it's on my face, either. I'm not crazy about the packaging, which is a plastic tube that has an attached lip brush. In order to get the product, you twist the bottom of the tube, and the gloss is squeezed out through the brush. The product comes out in uneven bursts, and there always seems to be too much, or too little. Sometimes one twist can make a huge amount of gel ooze out in a sudden burst, and there's way too much to use in one application. Even if a better amount comes out after the twist, there's always a huge amount of product left globbed in the brush, and if I don't wipe it off, it runs all over the place. I don't like leaving all that gloss in the brush because the "leftovers" make the next application feel dirty, or unsanitary to me. I don't like to use "messy" makeup , so, there's no way I'd buy something with this kind of applicator if the product itself didn't have benefits above and beyond the irritating applicator. (That's just me, of course; many people must love this packaging because Stila has used it for years.) Now that I've vented about my gripes with the container, I want to reiterate how beautiful this stain looks on my cheeks and lips, and how thrilled I am with this product!

This is not meant to be a moisturizing lip gloss. This is a lip stain, and if I need moisture with it, I use a lip balm or gloss over this product. The applicator is difficult. You have to twist the barrell to get product to the brush, and this takes time. After I use the stain, before putting it away, I give it a twist so it will be ready to go next time.

I have a pink skin tone and this lip and cheek stain is a great color for me. The texture and small are nice. It dries a little slower than other lip stains, so you have a chance to blend before it dries. It's a great multi-tasker that fits easily into the TSA's 3-1-1 rule.

I love this product! Beautiful, very natural, true cherry scent/flavor. Perfect bright color that just lasts & lasts. It works like a stain, and the only downside to this is that while it's not too drying, it's not exactly moisturizing (I'm not sure I believe the company's antioxidant claims) so you might need to also use a lip balm in addition.

Brushes on easily and feels good going on, smells like natural cherries. You can do a light layer for a natural blush color or continue brushing for deeper and brighter. So much better than lip liner, looks more natural. Just gloss on top looks gorgeous but goes great under all kinds of shades. Keeps color on your lips for many hours even after lipstick or gloss choice has worn off.

It goes on easily and does exactly what it's supposed to do.....lightly stain the skin you put it on. I wasn't looking for intensely stained lips or cheeks so I like it as is. However, as with most stain type products it's initially sticky as it dries. I solve this issue by applying clear lip gloss or lip balm after a minute or so. It doesn't wear as long as other stain products I've used but this fault may be due to my using gloss over it. I'm put off by the price and think it should run under $15 for what you get. Otherwise, I'm pleased with it.

I use it for cheeks and lips. It is so subtle for cheeks, very natural looking.
