This powder keeps me shine free all day. I didn't really look at the size of the powder when I ordered but it's tiny. Because of the price I assumed it would be a larger size and come in a nice quality container. The container is all cheap plastic. It doesn't arrive with any type of applicator brush (which I knew as the website made it clear) or the spray bottle mentioned in it's packaging. This website didn't mention the need for the spray bottle which I assume is meant to set the powder once applied. The paper insert in the packaging has only photos and numbered steps for application and depicts a spray bottle and brush. For the size, cheap packaging, and lack of spray bottle this is not a good value. I would recommend to a friend simply because it does work well.

It is expensive but really worth the money. It gives great coverage yet very light weight. I first heard of Jane Iredale when I was looking for a line of make up that doesn't test on animals and good to extremely sensitive skin like mine. I saw the catalog in my doctor's office. Because it is too expensive, I never tried. After spending hundreds of dollars in buying drug store cosmetics, I finally decided to buy. I highly recommend this product.

I have used the pure pressed powder base in Warm Sienna for quite a while now. I needed more and found that there is now a new metal compact and it's more expensive than the old green plastic compact. I needed the product so I ordered it. I wish the folks at Jane Iredale had tested the compact in real use by real people. The case fell apart after I had it less than a week. The latch won't stay closed. Great product, lousy case. I decided to try the loose powder in the same color. It comes in a plastic jar. The powder is relatively easy to use with Jane's big foundation brush. I get the same result I did with the pressed powder without the hassle of the case.
