Comments about Jane Iredale Amazing Base Loose Mineral Powder, Satin, .37 oz:
I am a makeup artist and this has to be one of the best, if not THE best powder foundation I've personally used. Even after 3 hours of sweating in belly dancing classes, the face still looks great - no streaks from beads of sweat falling. Eye makeup worse for wear than foundation was. Use alone with only concealer underneath to even out dark circles and/or blemishes, scars or dark patches. Follow up with translucent powder and you're good to go!!!

Comments about Jane Iredale Amazing Base Loose Mineral Powder, Satin, .37 oz:
I have repurchased JI Amazing Base several times. I used to use Warm Silk, but switched to Satin to get a little more color. I use the loose powder in the fall/winter when my skin tends to be drier. At first it there can be a learning curve regarding how to apply to get the best coverage. I usually apply a finishing powder *under* my loose powder, to help absorb any oiliness or excess moisture I might have on my skin from my moisturizer/sunscreen step. Then I apply a bit of concealer well-blended to cover spots. Then I buff the JI loose powder onto my skin, usind either the JI Powder Brush, or sometimes a brush with more dense bristles (kabuki, dome-top, etc.). My skin has improved using JI base (not as many clogged pores or milia). I will continue to purchase this product even though there are cheaper alternatives.
Pros
- Lightweight

- Causes Breakouts

Comments about Jane Iredale Amazing Base Loose Mineral Powder, Satin, .37 oz:
Was very disappointed in this product. It is so fine that it's like putting baby powder on your face. It didn't give me any coverage unless I applied several coats. Caused me to break out after just 3 days. Would never buy again.
