I love this because it is so light and it covers up the redness on my upper eyelids that came from eye medicine. It feels great, looks great, and is perfect every day.

I wanted a eye shadow base that was "natural" without parabens, etc., and Jane Iredale cosmetics fit the bill. So, I thought I had nothing to lose.

I was extremely disappointed that it crease SO quickly and did not hold eye shadow well. I tried a heavier coat, a lighter sweep but nothing made a difference. Unfortunately, I cannot return it, so I'm stuck with it.

The only thing that I like is the color - natural, sweet and just enough glimmer. But it does not work as I expected.

I use Too Faced eye shadow primer and even Bare Minerals' eye shadow primer works...but I don't think it is as natural as Jane Iredale's. I will not be purchasing any more of these branded products. I would give it "0" stars if I could. I am SO disappointed!

This product is more like a cream shadow than a base or lid primer, despite its neutral color. Also, it is really greasy. By the end of the work day - it was just a yucky mess. I managed to suffer through the entire product and not throw any away (luckily, there is not much product in the container)! I won't purchase it again.

I was very disappointed in this product because I like this brand in general. As other reviewers have pointed out, this base creases after bit of wear and then wears off completely after a few hours. I hope they retire this product and replace it with something that actually works soon.

I find this Lid Primer helps my eye shadow go on smoothly and lasts all day when used with the Jane Iredale Eye Shadows.

This stuff can only be described as "greasy". I switched to it wanting a more natural product but creased and smudged very quickly after application.

I should have listened to the reviews...this product does not work. It's way too creamy for an eye base and does not stay on. Bummed because I love my other Jane Iredale products!

I happen to be a loyal J.I. user however, this primer does not do it's job. It goes on smooth and silky and keeps your eyeshadow color true but it creases and rubs off within an hour or two.

I was hoping this would work as well as other products I've used. I wanted a more natural product. It doesn't at all. It's oily and creases immediately. I wanted to return it and they will not take it back. Don't buy it if you want your eye shadow to stay put and not crease! I have had a lot of luck with other primers that do what they are supposed to. Bummer. I wanted one without chemicals and preservatives.
