I'm not impressed with this at all. In fact, I feel like it was a total waste of money and this pencil was not cheap! It does not glide on smoothly, and you have to press really hard to get the pencil to leave product on your skin - not good for such a sensitive area. To use it, I've been applying the product to my fingertips, then applying it to my eyes. I do not recommend this product. Mine too came with no sharpener as described in the product info.

I love everything by Jane Iredale, but this is awful. The stick doesn't deposit color easily at all, even when I keep sharpening it right before I use it. It just feels more like a crayon. Really poorly-made.

This highlighter added just the right amount of definition for my eyes. It is subtle and gentle on the eyes, yet has enough color to make my tired eyes look bright, without looking overdone.

I got this b/c it seemed a perfect product for someone who has darker skin around their eyes, like I do. The corner of my eyes and underneath my eyes are naturally dark so I wanted something that would not only mask the darkness, but brighten them up too. I thought this would be good, but (1) I have no clue where to put it (2) it doesn't go on easily, you have to press hard, and that's definitely not good for such thin skin and (3) it doesn't apply smoothly.
Also, my other beef was that the description said that it came with its own sharpener, but that's a lie; there was not sharpener with it.

I always watch "What Not to Wear" and I have been looking for a pale pink pencil ever since Carmandy said that you can use it to help hide dark cirlces under the eye. After I put on my concealer and foundation, I take a few swipes at the dark area under my eye and this works well, It makes my eye look brighter, and I look more rested. This has a slight shimmer so it really wakes up my eyes. I will purchase this again!
