I apply loose powder, blush and powder eye shadow all with brushes. When my favorite powder brush finally got so mappy, I thought this would be a good replacement. Wrong. It is the same size as my other blush brushes and though it originally felt nice a soft, it sheds fibers all over my face and sink! For this price, I could find something much better.

I am a professional cosmetologist. I have more brushes than I can count and I do really like this brush, but I do not think it is a staple for the everyday makeup wearer at home. You can get a very similar effect with a kabuki brush or a rounded powder brush. I like it for my profession but if you have either of the brushes I listed, don't waist your money.
