Comments about Mason Pearson Nylon Hairbrush, Pocket Size, 1 ea:
I'm pretty happy with this brush. It makes my hair look soft and light. That being said, I have thick hair, and this brush was recommended to me by Mason Pearson for people with thick hair, but I have found it doesn't feel like it gets through my hair. Maybe it needs harder or longer bristles in order to really get through all my hair to my scalp. Then again, my hair looks brushed, so maybe I'm just not accustomed to thinner, lighter bristles after years of thick plastic bristles from my Aveda brush.

Don't let the sticker price scare you off-- these are the best hair brushes on the face of this planet. I still have a brush in GREAT shape that is almost 25 years old. I have thick, wavy hair that tends to get oily. Daily brushing with this help keep my locks tamed. Have an aunt with thin, brittle hair, she uses the same brand of brush with excellent results. My sister has crazy thick hair and she insists it's the only brush to get through a tangle. Invest wisely in a product, take care of it and you can have it for almost a lifetime.

Comments about Mason Pearson Nylon Hairbrush, Pocket Size, 1 ea:
I bought the purse-sized brush for travel, and it is nicely compact. I chose Mason Pearson because I heard it was THE high-end brush to buy. I have just below the shoulder length, wavy, thick hair, and thought the nylon bristles would work. It does a great job reaching my scalp, but on dry hair, boy does it generate a lot of static electricity! So all in all, decent brush, but given the side effects, not worth [$]

I know these are expensive, these brushes. But, I own one for home and one for my purse/travel. I love them. They are the best brushes I have ever used. I have long hair, and it is thin but alot of it. When wet, they work like magic without tearing the hair, and feel gentle. When dry, they work well too. I will never use any other kind of brush if I can help it. It just makes the day easier, grabbing it and it working so great.
