It says in the pamphlet to store out of sunlight, and they are right. I live in the desert, and the attractive but large container doesn't fit in my medicine cabinet. The top of the container is clear, and within two weeks the little capsules had hardened enough where my fingertips started getting tender trying to squeeze the serum out.
I have since placed a cotton round under the clear lid to block out the light, and this seems to have halted any further hardening of the capsules. But by now it is such a chore to use them, I have to warm them between my fingers and then cut them with scissors far enough down to create a larger opening, every time I use them.
The product itself? Lovely. It somehow totally absorbs yet keeps a smooth surface for 12-hours. And again, I'm in the desert! I really think it helps my concealer stay even and not cake during the day which I totally appreciate. But when you dread using a product, it is time to move on.
I wonder if they sell this in a pump form?? I'll have to check.

If used every night you'll end up with pimples even in your upper eye lids believe it or not. Just keep it to the under eye area and forget about using the entire capsule - no matter how dumb they call u for "bacteria" grow if u keep an open capsule. I really like the under eye look in the morning but you need to be super careful using it or you'll regret it the next day.
