I have struggled with finding a mascara that won't irritate my eyes. Most leave my eyes red and puffy by the end of a work day. (Even several 'hypoallergenic' types. THIS mascara is the exception... is it my favorite wand? No, however... it applies smoothly, it stays put for hours, it seperates my lashes well and it doesn't irritate my eyes in the slightest. This is a first for me. I just assumed I would have to deal with that forever. I am super excited about this find. I had never even heard of this brand before I saw it on beauty.com. I will definitely order again !

I have used many mascaras through the years and finally found this on a fluke. I am so happy I did. Very nice consistency, doesn't dry out, applies easily. Just a great product.

I purchased this mascara based on the prior positive reveiws and was not disappointed. This is the perfect everyday mascara that I have been looking for so long! Nice color and coverage, not clumpy or messy at all, dries fast. Gives my eyes a nice subtle pop for the day. The best part- it doesn't melt off my eyelashes late in the day and end up all over the outside of my eye sockets.

Believe me, I've tried so many different brands- from cheap drugstore mascara to stuff that costs $40-$50 a tube, and the Princess Borghese is the only one I have found so far worth the money you pay for it. This is definitely a "daytime look" mascara, so do keep that in mind when purchasing. That said, I'll be back for more when this tube runs out!!

I made the mistake of buying the mascara again.
and it did the same thing.
the applicator is too thin for the vessel.
Too much mascara comes out on the brush and you end up with a big mess if you don't tissue off the brush before using.
Way too expensive for this kind of problem.
Stay away.

LOVE this mascara. At first I was a little skeptical because it didn't add an enormous amount of volume, but after a few uses it quickly picked it up a notch—which I find with most mascaras. It lengthens like no other, and never EVER flakes, which is one of my biggest complaints about mascaras. It keeps a curl all day and washes off very easily. I love the brush, which is on the small side but really gets in and grabs all the little fine hairs. Layers very well, I always wear two or three layers and clumps are nowhere to be seen. Well worth the money, this is a keeper for sure!

Rich mascara with good coverage, no flaking, no smearing; wears well all day; easy to remove with soap and water. After trying several other drug store brands, I always come back to this mascara. I've never been disappointed with any Borghese product.

My Borghese moment came several years ago when in need of mascara that would hold up to outdoor activities that brought tears to my wind sensitive eyes. Without water-proof mascara you can only imagine the racoon images. Tried most brands on the market but found Borghese to be the best; long lasting, not heavy, dependable there was. One objection-it's popularity made it hard to find at the cosmetic counters. Since resorting to internet shopping-its a problem of the past.
