This is a miracle cream. I use it nightly under Hope in a Jar, after cleansing thoroughly with my Clarisonic Skin Care Brush and DDF Glycolic wash. Let me say this - about a year ago, I began to suffer from a horrible, embarrassing case of adult acne. My jawline, hairline, and other areas were sprinkled with cystic acne as well as small bumps. It was painful and just plain ugly. I tried everything - and I mean everything: Proactiv, Murad, MD Skincare, Neutrogena just to name a few - probably spending over $1,000 trying to find something that worked. Well, Help Me is certainly helping. After about 3 weeks, the small bumps are nearly gone, and the cysts are either coming to the surface on their way to healing, or clearing up all together. My fine lines are diminishing, to boot! I have pretty sensitive skin, too, and I need moisturizer every day and night. This has been a miracle cream for me, and I highly recommend it.

I cannot believe the change in my skin in 1 week. That's right 1 week. Skin is softer and the change in the texture and evenness of skin tone is very noticeable. I will be 50 in a few months and can honestly say this has taken years off my face. Will never go without it. Worth the price.

I wanted to ease into using Retinol-type products and this one is excellent. No irritation and after using it the very first time I received compliments on my skin the next day. My skin is dry with visible hyperpigmentation. This makes my skin feel refreshed and brighter.

First, let me address those who complain about having breakouts after first starting to use this product. When you start using a retinol treatment, this is a common reaction. Retinol helps to purge your skin of impurities, which it does by causing cell turnover to speed up and increase. This will very often result in your skin breaking out at first in a very major way. After a few weeks of daily use, however, this will stop if you can tolerate the product, and if you are taking proper care of your skin. You simply have to tough it out and let the product do its job.
I've been using Help Me Retinol for about 3 weeks now. I'm still in the breakout phase, however I have seen a major reduction in my laugh lines (fine creases around my mouth). They've all but disappeared already, which makes me exceedingly happy! The only negative I have to say about this product is that it does have a slight odor that is unpleasant, and my fiance has commented that if he kisses my face after I've put it on, it makes his lips taste horrible.

I read the reviews and decided to give this product a try. I use it after washing my face at night, before a night cream. I'd been using just the night cream, but the addition of this underneath has improved the texture and feel of my skin significantly.
I've used other Philosophy products and tend to pick and choose among the skin care line. This one appears to be a keeper.

I have only been using this product for a few weeks. I started very slowly like the company recommends. It is not helping with my oily/acne prone face but it is improving the texture of my skin. I notice my skin is softer. I am noticing a very small difference with my fine lines but I am sure I need to use it longer before I see more of a difference. I will continue to use this product. I was really hoping it would help control oil but I think I might need a doctor's prescription for a stronger strength. I am 45 years old with very oily/acne prone and aging skin.

Am using product for almost a week. Skin is much smoother and pores smaller. Haven't really noticed any wrinkle reduction yet, but I think that's too soon. Was battling with adult breakout and haven't had any since I started with this product.

Use it every other night, and ladies, if it's drying to you, you can put moisturizer on top. I wash my face, apply the Help Me, watch a little tv, and then about an hour or two later put moisturizer on top of it (when hope is not enough) and go to bed. Voila, great treatment.
This is really wonderful and I wish I'd tried it sooner. I have some stubborn spots not even the dermatoligist was sure what to do with. Using this for a couple weeks, they are gone.
I have mature skin, dry and roscea on cheeks, and uneven. But not any more. I will continue to purchase this product.

My skin is not sensitive at all. However after using this product a few time it became really irrateted and dry. I would not recommend this product. There are other retinol products out there that do the job and are not as harsh on your skin.
