I have very sensitive scalp and I found that this shampoo does not dry out my scalp at all! I have thick straight to wavy hair. It leaves my hair soft and smelling so pretty!

This shampoo smells wonderful!! Cleans gently. If your hair is really dry and needs extra care, I wouldn't recommend this for daily use. I use it once or twice a week between my extra moisturising Terax shampoo and ultra conditioner.

I love the products from this company, however was disappointed to find out that it contained sodium lauryl sulfate which is an ingredient I avoid in hair products. My understanding is that that is one ingredient to avoid if you prefer healthy, noncaustic, all natural products.

I'm still having a hard time getting used to natural shampoos (no parabans, no artificial suds, etc). Having said that, this Red Flower shampoo is a nice thick gel-ish shampoo. It lathers up nicely and rinses clean. My hair definitely needed conditioner. I wash my long (past shoulder blades), dark blond with highlights, curly (but I blow out and straighten) hair 3 times a week. I like to get it clean when I do. So far, this is the best all natural shampoo I've used. There is hope for me yet. The smell is insane. Insanely good. I love gardenia and this scent is more on the peppery gardenia/jasmine side but is a very well blended and heady scent. It is not vanilla masquerading as gardenia.
