II am a 48 yr old woman with extremely oliy skin. have tried every mattifyer on the market and Cargo blu_ray was another in the long line of mattifyers I've tried. For those who don't have the oil slick problem as I do, it's good enough (meaning better than nothing) but the love of my life as far as mattifyers go is Pop Face Magnet!

I found this primer ineffective, just didn't do the job.
I normally use the Clarins "Smooth" or Smashbox, but decided to try something new.
Cargo completely absorbs into my skin. I put it on after moisturizer and by time i put my concealer or foundation on my skin is not smooth, just dry. Not dry like "dry skin from winter", dry like it just absords all the primer up. I do not have a smooth surface to apply concealer on, actually can't because skin is too dry.
Im going to go back to Clarins Instant Smooth Perfecting Touch, which leaves a smooth silky feel to my skin.

I have tried many primers and I think I finally found "THE ONE" with this Cargo product. It not only provided a smooth surface, it seemed to stay on longer than the other primers I have tried. Think I'll stay with this one.

This product really delivered for me--no more make-up sliding off my face before the day is over. Easy to apply and helps smooth my large pores, which makes foundation or powder application easier. I caution against using too much, as I've had it "roll" into clumps when I thought more would be better.

I was so excited the first day when I arrived home from work after having used Cargo's product, looked in the mirror and my face didn't reflect that nasty day old shine. I would recommend this to anyone who has a tendency toward oily skin.

I tried using this as a base under foundation. I thought that it would completely smooth my pores and control oil for at least a while. However, this product didn't smooth out my pores at all even though my pores aren't very big. As for oil control, it didn't perform in that department either. My face even seemed to get oily faster. I don't have fine lines (yet) so I don't know if it works well for smoothing out those. This was such a big disappointment. I wish I had bought it from a place that will accept unsatisfactory product returns (S) so at least I could return it.
