I recently received my re-purchase of Doubleglow 7 and was disappointed to see that the new jar is smaller, contains less product and no longer includes the very useful little spatula that used to accompany the product, however the price is still the same. I love this product and will probably continue to use it, but I am disappointed with the company.

I use it with a dampened, Elizabeth Arden sponge brush or Beauty Blender mini.

I thought this would help even my skin tone, but all it did was make it shimmery. It was way more shiny than I though it would be, and it looks like "too much" on combination skin. The only thing it works well on is the eye area. I can use a LITTLE under the eyes to help brighten them, but that's about it. I am definitely disappointed in the product.

I have 50 year old combination skin, medium tone with moderate freckling. I put this on my face with a little argan oil as a primer. I apply right out of the jar kind of swiped on sparingly with a foundation brush (forget the useless little spoon that comes with it!). I dot on foundation and blend all with my fingers to warm into my skin. Works great and people have commented that I was "glowing", asking what I did different--was it a new hair cut or a change in the way I did my makeup? Subtle enough yet effective. My sensitive, breakout prone skin never had an issue with it. I love this product!

I love using highlighters on my face to get that special "glow." This product did do that, BUT there are some drawbacks!
Its a tiny jar that came with a mini spoon. Spoon does not attach to jar so its easy to lose. I have to keep the box it came in to save the spoon.
Pretty smooth going on, but a little can really go a long way, especially if your skin is on the oily side, or if you use a heavy face cream. If that is the case for you, then be aware it will definitely thin out the coverage and intensity of this product.
Also, there is only a 6 month shelflife! Disappointed there, because there is NO WAY I will use the whole jar by the time it expires.
Overall it does what it says, but I am just gona go back to my powder highlighters.

I wasn't sure what to expect with this, as this was my fist facial glow/brightener. Overall I love the product, but there a few things I felt uneasy about:[...]!!!Back to the review: a little will go a long way, especially if you are using this as a highlighter above the cheeks, on the nose, or on eyelids. It may be too light for dark skin, but is quite smooth, so it will spread easily. There is a small spoon that comes with it so you can use the precise amount you want. Be advised...there is only a 6month shelf-life on this product. This would be another tip for Beauty.com, please display the shel-life of the products!! I would not have bought this if I knew, becuase since a little goes a long way, it is not possible to use the whole thing in 6months unless I used it every single day all over my face.

I use this as a highlighter on my nose, cheeks, and eyes. It looks great and I always get complimented on how nice I look when I use the face balm this way. I have not used it all over, but it is really great as a highlighter.

I put this all over my face and it did absolutely nothing. Zilch. Zero. It's also in a very tiny jar and hard to get out of the jar. No glow, hard to use.

I really like this balm even though its very thick. It glides on easily. I don't wear foundation so this gives me the "glow" look without being too much. I would buy it again.
