Apply with a firm blush brush, like Stila Brush #1, and use very light strokes to achieve a flawless airbrushed effect or apply with fingertips and blend outward and upward. For lip application, apply with Brush #6 or fingertips. For easy application to cheeks- press your ring finger into cream and gently blend ring finger against thumb to warm up the color - then tap color into cheeks. Keep pastel or pink shades around the apple of the cheeks and neutral or contour colors should be blended below the cheekbones.

Comments about Stila Convertible Color, Poppy, .15 oz:
I know the color looks intimidating in the pan but all you really need is a makeup sponge and suddenly Stila Poppy becomes extremely easy to apply. Just dab the sponge into the product. Then press the sponge into your cheek where you want to apply your blush and use that same dabbing/rolling motion to blend out the blush with a clean part of the sponge. Done. I think Stila Poppy is perfect for winter. It gives your cheeks a healthy flush and can be applied to look very natural. If you're in a community theater production or you want to look like a doll for Halloween, it would work for that as well, just apply more heavily. I'm not sure about the lasting time since I haven't worn it for more than a few hours.

Comments about Stila Convertible Color, Poppy, .15 oz:
I love to use this Stila product on my cheeks and lips. It gives you a fresh color and people always comment about how my skin looks healthy and how it has a glow to it. This compact lasts forever! I've had it for two years now and just finished it. The only downside is that it doesn't last. You will have to re-apply after about an hour or so. If you're looking for something really long lasting, then try a stain. But, if you want quick and easy and need something to give you a fresh glow, this is it! An all around great product.

Comments about Stila Convertible Color, Poppy, .15 oz:
I don't need them on my lips, just on my cheeks because I am very fair.
I'd say they were drying for the lips. The color is nice on me. It's a dark, neutral red, maybe slightly pink undertone but nothing outlandish. Don't put on too much. Use a small amount for a windblown look. Nice product.

Comments about Stila Convertible Color, Poppy, .15 oz:
I find that this product goes on easily and stays on well. Not as good as the liquid cheek stains but MORE CONVENIENT to apply. Its a nice touch for lips too! I would definately recommend this product and most likely order another color for my collection.

This is a beautiful deep red and you can easily control the depth and saturation of color with the application. Very versatile - I will definitely get another (and hope it NEVER gets discontinued)!

Comments about Stila Convertible Color, Poppy, .15 oz:
great color as a lip stain, apply softly, very nice and wears off like a natural flushed color.
Comments about Stila Convertible Color, Poppy, .15 oz:
Although it is convenient to have blush and lipstick in one and it applies nicely the poppy color is bright and garish. Not at all the nice darker shade that is displayed here. I look like a little girl who has been playing with Mommy's makeup when I wear it and the price is way too steep.
