This is too heavy in the hand to use, as well as it HURTS my scalp! I was looking for a natural boar bristle brush to distribute oils in my hair.

I am not impressed with this brush. It's very large so not easy to
move through the hair drying process. I prefer a vented brush that
allows your hair to dry more quickly.

Comments about iTech Magnetic & Tourmaline Boar & Nylon Bristle Paddle Hairbrush, 1 ea:
Was this brush supposed to have ionic smoothing and defrizzing properties? This is what I understood to be one of its big draws, but its performance in that arena has been disappointing. After a few uses--a week or two, anyway--my hair started actually crackling with static electricity when I brushed it with this brush. Maybe the ions wore out in that short space of time, and maybe it never worked from the beginning but the weather was simply cooperating with me. Either way, I wouldn't recommend it as a defrizzing brush.
The magnet was something of a disappointment, as well. It's placed at the tip of the handle, not in the shaft itself, so if you want to hang it on a metal surface, you'll have to find one that's parallel to the floor so the brush can hang straight down from it. It also tends to grab hold of the metal bits of hair ties when, for instance, I wear them on my wrist while doing my hair, which can be annoying--especially when I put the brush down to tie up my hair, only to find that the hair ties have come off my wrist along with the brush!
The magnet and ionic action aside, it does get the job done if all you need is a good detangling hairbrush. I have very long, very thick hair that tangles easily, so I really like it as just a basic brush.
Now, is "just a basic brush" worth the price it's going for? That, I'm not so sure. I'm just glad I got mine for a discounted price.

I needed a big paddle brush to blow out my curly hair. My old brush lasted me 3 yrs and needed to be replaced because no matter how much I cleaned it it didn't look clean (but it still worked!). I've had this brush a little over 2 months now and the bristles are falling out! Not long after i started using it, the bristles started bending towards the center and it seemed like the brush was caving in. I don't see any benefit from this brush either. Just junk for [$]!!!!

Great, great brush. The magnet in the handle makes this brush perfect to "hang"! I love it!
