I'm a 24 year old Chinese female and have tried a lot of drugstore brand tinted moisturizers (nothing comes close to this one!), I've tried Covergirl, Revlon, Physicians formula, etc. they were either too sheer, cakey, or orange (respectively).
I really liked this one because it's non comodegenic, great for sensitive users, and has no fragrance! The colour is true to color. I purchased Light. The bottle (2 oz) will last you about 2 1/2 months so it's very practical!
The cons of this is that it is not sweatproof/waterproof (so don't wear during beach) nor is the SPF high enough (18...but it's better than most). Also it would help to have more colours!
Other than that I use this when I go to work or when I'm running errands, it's a great find.

I am in my late 60s, and my skin, which has always been good, has aged normally. This means it is getting drier and needs a little extra hydration, so I use this product over my usual non-oily moisturizer. I think many older women make the mistake of applying too much foundation which only makes the skin look dessicated. I find that a tinted moisturizer followed with a bit of concealer under the eyes and on any blemishes is enough for me. I finish with a very light patting of powder on my nose. For washed-out days I also apply a bit of sheer blush on cheek apples. My only criticisms of theBalm tinted moisturizer is that 1) it is almost as opaque as a foundation and care must be taken not to apply too much and 2) the "light" shade is a bit too yellow for me. I'd prefer a more neutral color (like #30 in Lancome foundation).

Comments about theBalm BalmShelter Tinted Moisturizer SPF18, Light, 2.25 oz:
I've been using this tinted moisturizer for years. The shades run on the dark side. I have a light-medium tone and use this in Light and during the summer I will use the light/medium shade. Blends in easily and provides light coverage. The finish is very natural on my oily skin. I have tried other high end tinted moisturizers and like this one the best. It is a great value.

Comments about theBalm BalmShelter Tinted Moisturizer SPF18, Light, 2.25 oz:
This is my exact match, compliments my Light Time Balm Concealer perfectly, has no scent, is gentle, buildable, and looks natural while doing it's job of evening out the appearance of my skin. It contains SPF 18 for added protection against the elements. I like the color and texture even more than Smashbox Sheer Focus Tinted Moisturizer with SPF 15. If they stop making this, I don't know what I'll do. I'm hooked.

Comments about theBalm BalmShelter Tinted Moisturizer SPF18, Light, 2.25 oz:
There is almost nothing bad to say about this product except that it should be provided in a broader array of colors/tints. I've had difficulty finding tinted moisturizers that matched my skin tone. Most also do not apply very well, coming off in tiny pieces when you try to blend. Most are also not very comfortable to wear. Unlike regular moisturizers, they don't feel like they absorb, instead sitting on top of skin like foundation and sometimes even feeling cakey. But BalmShelter is the complete opposite. When applied, it makes my skin feel smooth and softer. I use the Light color which, when blended, completely evens out my skin, leaving it natural looking, not the made-up look. The SPF is a nice touch too. On days when I don't want to trouble myself with applying both moisturizer and foundation, BalmShelter is my go-to moisturizing solution.

Comments about theBalm BalmShelter Tinted Moisturizer SPF18, Light, 2.25 oz:
This is the best tinted moisturiser I've tried. It has a natural tone and creates an even palatte without feeling like you are wearing a heavy base layer. I am a light olive skinned Italian and I've found the color to be the perfect tone, I've chosen it over Stila, Laura Mercier and Lierac - I am on my third tube of this stuff. A little goes a long way so this lasts for a long time.

I've tried a lot of tinted moisturizers and this one is the best. It doesn't leave my skin greasy or chalking looking. The coverage is enough to minimize pores and fine lines but allows my natural skin tone to come through. My face looks like me but better!

A very nice, sheer to light coverage tinted moisturizer. Has SPF with I love - UVA & UVB.
My best friend commented on how great my skin looked when I was wearing this.
This product gives me the dewy* look. I really like it so far! I've used it four times already.
