This is a great, light moisturizer for everyday use. I recently decided to switch from cheap drugstore brands to Dr. Hauschka because I realized that skin care is the wrong place to be cheap. I want the best products for my skin and Dr. Hauscka is actually cheaper than a lot of department store brands. Minus the animal testing and harsh ingredients! The best way to use this lotion is after cleansing cream and facial toner. I recommend the Radiant You set which comes in a trial size that let's you test Dr. Hauschka skin care for less than $10.

I love the Dr Hauschka line in general. However, the light rose cream does not smell as nicely as the other scents. I love the regular rose day cream scent, but the consistency of the light version is nicer for year-round use. For a good scent and year-round use, try the quince or day moisturizers.

I was surprised how much I love this cream! Smells great, absorbs quickly, non greasy. I have combination skin but a little dryer now and it's perfect. Only caveat the price and I went through the one ounce tube in @ a month! Will continue to buy it though, in multiples when it's on sale.

This Dr. H cream is pretty good. The name says Light, but it's a bit heavier and thicker than I expected and you do need to work at it to get it evenly absorbed. But it does a good job, smells good and seems to have pretty natural ingredients compared to other brands. I would buy it again.

This product has been drying out my skin. I don't know if the "balancing" factor means dry. Anyways, I feel like tossing it in the trash. Makes my 23 yr old face feel boring and older. Will not repurchase. Returning the product.

I have been searching for the perfect moisturizer this year. I had been using aveda face products for the past 4 years and they were making my breakout and causing little red spots on my face. I almost thought the spots were gonna be permanent since i had been using those products for so long. Anyways I decided to give Dr Hauschka Day Cream a try and
After 1 week of using this product my skin looks so soft and clear. It got rid of all the redness and irritation i had been experiencing. It gives a clean feeling too. I am used to moisturizers being heavier though. So I just wish this product gave more of a glow. Otherwise I would have given it 5 stars. I want a moisturizer that makes skin look supple and glowy so my search continues. Yet I do recommend this product because it is so soothing and calming to the skin. Great smell too.

The directions say to gently press it into face and neck. This lotion is so soft and gentle that one can do just that. You do not have to rub to get it to absorb and the skin drinks it up immediately. The rose scent is beautiful and pleasant.
The gentle manner in which it nourishes the skin is appreciated by me and would be appreciated by women who use other products to exfoliate and sometimes need to give the skin a break....

I took the advantage of 20% promotional week to purchase this product since I have read all the good reviews about it. So as soon as I received it, I can't wait to wash my face and put it on. Wow, it really goes on smoothly and absorbs quickly. I have been using the product for almost a month now, my skin texture has improved from dull to soft and bright. The rose scent is not one of the reasons for buying this product, however.
My facial skin type is oily during the summer and combination during the winter. I just order a regular day cream for the deeper moisturization for my coming trip to upstate New York. The light one may not moisturize enough for the extremely cold weather areas. In addition, I use the light cream both day time and night time although it says a day cream.

This is a great moisturizer that can be used year-round in the dryer mountain climate of CO. A little bit goes a long way. It works well to smooth and even skin tone. The down side is the price as I have found similar products that are cheaper in that you get more for your money and you get some sun protection. None of Hauschka's facial moisturizers offer any sun protection. Also, I have found the packaging to be somewhat delicate as you begin to use up the product and the aluminum will crack open if it gets a crease in it...makes it difficult to travel with.
