Depending on your skin type, I can understand how it may be a bit orangey for some. But I only use one layer and it seems to be just enough. It does have a bit of shimmer to it too. I've used this bronzer for years. A bit pricey but last months.

I put on my moisturizer and then the bronzer. This helps to prevent streaking, esp. if you used some eye make-up remover and/or eye cream. I love this product and have been using it for years.
