The Ultimate Make Up Sponge Applicator - Modernize the way you make up Now you can look like a movie star without the pricey services of a major make up artist. Introducing Beautyblender, the ultimate make up sponge applicator. Invented by top Hollywood make up artists Rea Ann Silva and Veronica Lorenz, Beautyblender has been created to leave you with a professional finish and a flawless complexion. Silva and Lorenz know that the key to a perfect face is simple: a perfect blend. So forget your fingers or sharp-edged triangular sponges, these application methods waste make up and can leave visible streaks. Beautyblender's patent-pending elliptical shape makes application foolproof by allowing you to access hard-to-reach areas with stunning ease. Its suede texture is sensual to the touch and its unique curves fit the contours of your face, leaving your make up dazzling and undetectable. Beautyblender is latex free, non-allergenic and odor free. Made in USA |

Blend your way to a flawless face! Seeing make up is the first sign of an amateur application. Beautyblender was created without edges in order to eliminate visible lines and streaks. So go ahead, experiment fearlessly with your Beautyblender and discover the many ways its unique shape will set you free! Bounce Beautyblender against your face when applying make up. Bouncing, called stippling in the make up world, blends make up without creating changes in the texture or tone of your skin. Use Beautyblender's pointed side for hard-to-reach spots like around the nose and mouth, and under the eyes. Use the round base for foundation and blush on the larger areas of your face such as your forehead, cheeks and chin. If you apply make up with your fingers you'll find that Beautyblender will smooth and refine your make up to provide a clean finish. Use Beautyblender damp when applying wet/dry make up. When Beautyblender is wet it is normal for it to expand to nearly twice its original size. Wash after use and place in the Beautyblender insert pedestal to dry. You can also put Beautyblender in the Beautyblender pouch and toss it in the dryer. Be sure to use an air-dry setting; Beautyblender should not come in contact with extreme heat of any kind. If you have problem skin Beautyblender works to cover blemishes. Use the pointed end and the stipple and twist technique to work make up into depressed areas of the face. The stippling and twisting action feathers out the makeup's edges, leaving a perfect finish. |

You know, I was VERY skeptical. Wow. I am truly amazed. I have long nails and my fingertips stay cold. I can't "pat in" concealer with my fingertips. The pointed end of this sponge make fast work of PERFECT blending by just lightly poncing, stippling, bouncing, what-ever-you-want-to-call-it. Incredible finish to my make-up.

I had the best use of this when applying my liquid foundation and cream blush. Unless I had a very wide area to cover for concealing, even the small end of this egg shape was too large to have enough control, say, over a blemish. It applied the makeup beautifully and evenly, BUT, you could get the same application with a stippling makeup brush, the kind that are short squat bristles in a round base, like MAC sells -(as opposed to a regular style foundation brush). - and the brush is easier to clean and will last forever - as opposed to this which wears out after awhile. Contrary to most of views on here, it took ALOT of my makeup to use this, it soaked it right up, even wetting and blotting the sponge to pretty damp, so better to apply with your fingers, then do a final finish using the stippling sponge. The same thing happened when I applied my powder with it, it sticks right to the sponge and wastes product. It also leaks it's pink pigment every time I wash it. If you decide to try this sponge, you don't have to use the special cleaner. Any vegetable based cleanser or soap will do a fine job of washing it. I use Nature's Gate shampoo to do the trick.
If you don't care about how much you spend on a makeup sponge, this is a really nice makeup sponge, probably the nicest I've ever used. But I won't be purchasing it again for that price.

The hype is true, girls! I was skeptical at first because of the price, but after reading a lot of reviews, I finally have in. I am so glad I did! This gives a flawless finish. It's very easy to use and feels nice on the face. It's kinda hard to remove the make up though when you clean It, but I guess that's normal for a sponge. I love my beauty blender!

I lightly dab concealer to the eye area with a fingertip then use the beauty blender to finish. I also use it after applying liquid foundation with a brush. You use light dabbing motions. The finish the moist sponge leaves you with is really beautiful. It's a real innovation. I'm a definite fan.

I have very fair, sensitive skin. Per my Dermotologist's suggestion, I use Solar Protection SPF60 as a foundation. Using the BeautyBlender to apply it makes it go on evenly and prevents caking.

Love this little pink sponge! I used to apply my foundation using my fingers, then I used a brush. I love the Beauty Blender so much more. It gives me such a smooth, natural finish. I do soak it in a little bowl of water and then squeeze all of the excess water out of it but I don't dry it with a towel. The first time I used it, I forgot to do this step and I really liked the smooth dewy finish. The second time I used it, I dried the sponge with a towel and noticed the difference. Although my makeup was still smooth and even, it wasn't dewy and looked drier (although it could just be my imagination?). Either way, I just soak, squeeze and start bouncing. I did my research and saw a few lower priced imitations, but I wanted to try the real thing first. Although it is expensive, I would say go for it and decide for yourself if it's worth it. It is a great product although maybe a little difficult to keep looking as clean as when it first arrived.

I was skeptical of such an expensive sponge but decided to try it after hearing about it for years. I recently purchased a long wear foundation and using this sponge to apply it makes my skin look flawless without caking on the makeup.
I generally apply foundation with a latex sponge or a foundation brush. However this long-wear foundation did not look good when I applied it with the brush and looked OK when applied with the latex sponge. When I applied it with this sponge I was shocked and the difference! I will be using this going forward and highly recommend it.

This completely changed the way my foundation looks! I have fair skin and my foundation always looks a little heavy, but with this sponge my foundation goes on lighter, but seems to cover all my flaws even better! I use the sponge a little damp, which helps with the light touch and to not waste alot of makeup.

I'm so glad I bought this! It blends so perfectly, I use the round end for foundation and powder. I use the sharp end to blend undereye brightener. The only thing I don't like is that I use more foundation that I did before because some of it absorbs into the sponge.
