Start with a slightly moist face. Apply an even layer of Supreme Cream over face and neck with fingertips or a shaving brush. I have tried sooooooooo many shave products (low- to high-end) just to find one that would finally alleviate my post-shave razor burn (I hate shaving because of this). JB's shave cream is like no other shave product I have ever used. I apply it with a cheap shaving brush, and let me tell you...using just a TINY bit of the product and it froths (not even foams or lathers, but FROTHS) up like crazy. I'm not religious, but let me make the point this way: If you could take clouds form heaven and formulate them into a shave cream, JB's would be it! : ) Ahhhhh, relief.

I'm not sure why I'm different from the other customers, but I just created an account to say how bad this shaving cream is. My girlfriend bought it for me as a gift, and I 100000000% prefer dry-shaving. I'm going to be late for work because I have to wait for all of these cuts and nicks (somewhere around 15 of them) to stop bleeding profusely. Also, the actual shaving required 3x as long since the product constantly gunks up the razor. I could not think of a worse product to put on my face while shaving. Dry-shaving in the shower with a fog-free mirror is so much better, I'll do that until I can get to the store to buy some normal person shaving cream.
As an aside, the other Jack Black products my girlfriend got me are great. I think the post-shave cooling gel is the only thing keeping me from going to the ER (that's hyperbole, but you get the point).

While my wife was buying cosmetics, I was given a sample packet of Jack Black Supreme Cream Triple Cushion Shave. I have been using Supreme Cream ever since, (about 3 years). Prior to Supreme Cream, I used King of Shaves Alpha Gel, and before that Edge. I have used Supreme Cream with blades, I used it with a Norelco 1255X, and I now use it with a Panasonic ES-81LV electric shaver. I usually wet the shaver before shaving. It takes less than 3 minutes for a close, comfortable shave. I have a pretty tough beard, and as it turns grey, the hairs seem stiffer. Using Supreme Cream results in a comfortable shave, a long-lasting shave, and smooth, moisturized skin. The 8 oz. jar lasts me about 8 months, so the initial cost amortizes to a pretty reasonable monthly cost. I also keep a 3 oz. tube in my travel shaving kit.

I have eczema on legs, elbows, arms, buttocks... it is really annoying to shave and then start scratching because your skin is so sensitive. This has got to be the only shaving cream that has ever minimized this discomfort. I usually use shea-butter mixed with olive oil from my kitchen, however this is pretty close with a really nice scent, and it won't clog my bath-tub. ;)

I originally bought this product as a gift for my husband. He use to get an infected ingrown hair or two every time he shaved. Immediately after using this product he noticed that he stopped getting them. When I gave this product a try, I was frankly amazed. I have thick hair follicles and also use to get ingrown hairs frequently. Since I started using this product a year ago, I have also stopped getting them too! I've also noticed how I no longer 'clog' the razor when I shave. And although I was initially a bit shocked by the price of the product, one tub lasts my husband and I approximately 3 - 4 months. That's not bad a deal at all.

I have yet to find a shaving cream that comes close to this. I shave my face and head on a regular basis, so shaving is a big part of my life. This product can be hard to find in stores and when I ran out I was miserable. Luckily it's always available at this site. The price is a bit high but you definitely get your money's worth!

The first shaving cream that hasn't irritated my skin. I thought it would, given its strong scent, but I got a smooth shave and it didn't burn at all. I won't use anything else!
