Velvet Riche lipstick should be applied over defined lips. Use our Lip Pencil in a coordinating shade to shape and contour your mouth. Beginning in the center of your lips, use VL Brush #5 or #6 to paint a thin layer of Velvet Riche color. Completely paint lips up to and including the lip line. Blot and paint a second layer of Velvet Riche. |

As a green-eyed blonde with fair/meduim skin tone, I want a neutral lipstick for day when I go with the heavier eye. After trying several this is the one!!! Lets face it, neutral lips are hard to pull off- the colors are oftern too orange or worse the texture is too dry and it looks cakey, not this one!!! The perfect neutral....

Rule of thumb - never ever buy lipstick online. This is the exception. Lipstick junkie, forever trying to find the right color - I have dark hair, and a fair complexion. Color hates me. It shouldn't - but it does. This is a BEAUTIFUL lipstick and give the shade a chance. It is simple, elegant, clean, and has a leaves a natural, classic impression. You can pair it with other lipliners. It works great with a gloss that has a little tint or shine to it. This is a neutral, matte shade that will work well with everything. A little goes a long way, no need to layer it on thick. The only con - doesn't last long so you will need to re-apply. I would have never picked this brand off the shelf, but plan to continue to use it. I applies beautifully and has a silky feel. The color truly is elegant.
