My favorite highlighting product. I had tried a fluid highlight and came back to this product because I like it so much better. The only thing I would change is the shimmer - it is a bit strong, so you just have to use control when applying if you don't like a lot of glow.

Nice highlighting powder for those whose pores seem small. Only can be used as highlighting, cannot be used as blush alone.

This is a gold shimmering color that creates a beautiful highlight to whatever point on the face you apply it. I think it's essential for Nars's line since they don't have a "highlighter" though almost any one of their shimmer blushes in the natural shades could work in it's place.

Unfortunately, I don't find it worth its price. There are a huge collection of shimmer shadows that work beautifully in it's placed (Mac's woodwinked eye shadow for instance).

I have heard so many good things about Nars products over the years that I finally gave in and purchased this product to try. The highlighter applied rather cakey (I tried several different kinds of high end brushes and sponges - all looked bad). I have oily skin and it still had a profound drying effect and made it look like I had lots of fine lines on the top of my cheekbones. I have used Drugstore brand blush/highlighter that was better quality than this. The Albatross color was very yellow with gray/ash undertones. It gave a sickly (think jaundiced) look to my skin. A bit much sparkle for my taste; just too garish. Also, the compact is ridiculously small for the price.

This is a beautiful highlighter for fair skin. The glow seems to be more natural than many of the highlighting products I've used in the past. I love putting this product on the cheek bones, brow bones, bridge of the nose, 'not the tip' and the lips including the ridge before lip gloss or your lip color. This is perfect for the face. A compliment to this highlighter would be Nars 'Copacabana' highlighting stick for shoulders, decolletage and body if desired.

My skin is very light and Albatross is the perfect highlighter. It adds dimension without looking chalky or too shimmery - perfect for everday! Add a little more and your day look is ready for night. I quite prefer this over the NARS multi-purpose sticks.

Very subtle, golden white glow. Perfect for cheekbone highlight. My skin is very pale, and on me it gives a lit-from-within, ethereal glow. It's not BOOM, you've got highlight on! Just a nice, sheeny glow. I think on darker skin it would show up as an even more obvious glow, but would still be beautiful.

This did not work well with my skin tone and was very unflattering. The color has no warmth (no gold or peachy tones) so it just made me look like my skin was blotchy and washed ... like I was ill or hadn't had enough sleep. I have a medium brown complexion, so maybe this is best for people with olive or deeper brown skin tones?

I gave it 3 stars because the coverage and weight of the product is good -- it just didn't work for me.

I can't comment on how it would look on other skin tones, but it does nothing for my pale skin. I can't even see it. I'd return it, but it does not come with the color guarantee.

Although it looks white in the pan, Albatross makes my dark skin glow. Great highlighter even for black skin!
