Comments about Deborah Lippmann Nail Color, Dark Side Of The Moon, .5 fl oz:
This is the best mystery color that I have seen. It is a very very dark aubergine red which is actually very close to black, hence "dark side of the moon". I love the color, not absolute black but with a hint of extreme dark red under the sun. It goes on smooth and even out quickly. I love Deborah Lipmann nail polish.
Pros
- Dries Quickly
- Goes On Smoothly

Comments about Deborah Lippmann Nail Color, Dark Side Of The Moon, .5 fl oz:
anyone buying this product is clearly looking for a dark nail polish. if you look at the picture and are honestly surprised when you receive it and see that it is near black... well... i don't know what to say. i was looking for a very deep dark purple, nearly striking black. i wanted something dramatic and classy. when my manicure was done, i thought that was exactly what i had found and i was thrilled! but then i walked outside. under the sun, this color shows up as PURPLE! not regal, not eggplant... nothing classy. just purple! hated it! i live in CA so there is sun all the time. i suppose if you lived somewhere where there wasn't too much sunlight in the fall and winter, this would look nice and dark all the time.

Comments about Deborah Lippmann Nail Color, Dark Side Of The Moon, .5 fl oz:
I wanted a dark winter color for my shorter nails and this fit the bill perfectly. It is a very dark, almost black purple, similar to a dark japanese eggplant. It is borderline goth, but with a good manicure, it can look elegant.
Comments about Deborah Lippmann Nail Color, Dark Side Of The Moon, .5 fl oz:
Per the description I thought this was going to be a really deep purple, only buy this if you like black polish because that is the way it shows up.
Comments about Deborah Lippmann Nail Color, Dark Side Of The Moon, .5 fl oz:
This is a very cool color...very, very deep eggplant color. As with all Lippmann polishes, the shine is incredible along with the lasting power. This will be a great fall/winter color. I have to admit it's a bit on the "Goth" side, but still a winner, and much more interesting then the black that's been so popular. If you want to be a bit more on the conventional side, "Just Walk Away Renee" is very similar in tone, but more of a reddish wine black cherry color.
