I am 30yrs old with major oily daytime skin, BUT I live in the Northeast where my skin can become dry around my neck, chin, and nose during winter. If I have a few drinks :) my skin becomes dehydrated and sensitive to my other PM creams (acne, glycolic, wrinkle). This cream is thick, moisturizing, and great for nightime use. Yes the smell seems a bit potent but not intolerable. I do still have moderate acne with huge pimples and large pores, but this cream (although it has some oil) did not exacerbate the condition. Sometimes I'll use a spot treatment underneath the cream.

I tried the sample and liked that it was not greasy and loved the fragrance, however, I ordered a full size jar and after using it for a couple of weeks, I find that it is not moisturizing enough and has even produced some dryness around my nose.

I love this for both day and night moisture, and the scent is light and lovely at bedtime. It is a moderately thick cream, but rubs in without the weight or shine of similar products. I have combination skin and my oily areas are better controlled with this moisturizer than with others, plus it doesn't make me break out or lead to "make-up melt." Makeup actually goes on well over this. I do have to keep a more heavy duty moisturizer on hand for dry patches on my chin, but I'm okay with that.

I love the smell and feel of this product, which have kept me trying it even though my skin breaks out severely each time I use it. This seemed too heavy for even my sensitive, dry skin, and applying sparingly didn't seem to help either. My skin cleared up as soon as I stopped using it.

I have used many products in the past, but after receiving a sample of this product & liking it, I ordered the full-size jar. It is GREAT under make-up. It doesn't "pull-up" like so many other brands do. It calms my sensitive skin and gives just the right amount of moisture for me to wear all day. I bought some for my daughter and reccomend it to all my friends with sensitive skin!

I got this as a freebie, and am glad I didn't spend money on it. I expected it to smell like roses, but it doesn't. Smells a bit like grandma's closet. I'm spoiled by Dr. Hauschka's rose day cream and also Weleda rose body oil, so this smell doesn't hold a candle to a true rose scent. It takes quite a bit of rubbing and soaking in for the white to disappear (I guess that's the sunscreen, but with only SPF 6, another sunblock is necessary anyway so why bother?) and I have better things to do with my time than stand in front of the mirror doing lots of rubbing. It didn't irritate my sensitive dry skin, so that's good. Would not purchase this product.
