Inspired by the "elixir of youth" used by Queen Isabella of Hungary, this skin care smoothes features, tightens pores and provides a burst of radiance to the complexion. Extensive scientific research has resulted in a skin care treatment which reduces the signs of ageing by gently stimulating cellular growth. Caudalie patented this discovery world-wide. Skin care treatments containing Resveratrol improve elasticity while increasing skin tone. Firm, full skin cells make your skin appear more youthful and radiant. Try a Resveratrol-based anti-aging skin care routine. Used together, these skin care treatments significantly lessen the look of fine lines and wrinkles. While protecting and correcting your skin, Resveratrol firms and nourishes which creates a more youthful complexion. You'll find that regular treatment produces gratifying results. *Plant Origin All Skin Types - For all skin lacking radiance. Beauty Elixir is an exceptional anti-dull complexion treatment and a wonderful after-shave for men.

Discovered this product and cannot live without it. Met a Caudalie rep that claimed this elixir was the first of it's kind with a formula dating back to ancient Greece or something. Whatever...it works. I spray it on right out of the shower. I follow it up with Luzern Serum Rescue Absolut and then Dermalogica Moisturizer. I have combination skin that loves moisturizer but can be prone to break-outs and/or sensitivity. This regimen leaves me glowing, even toned and young. The Caudalie Elixir works WITH your regimen. The essential oils help the other products and moisturize to absorb fully. It's a great product and very affordable...unless you are like me and you spray it on every chance you get!

The product has mint in it and that's why people say it "refreshes" the makeup or skin. It doesn't fix anything. It's just the mint tingling your skin. It also has alcohol in it. Even though it's derived from plants but I find it so unnecessary because it just takes out the moisture.
I finished the entire bottle. My skin never felt moisturized when I use it. I do like the minty sensation. But it's not enough to make it a good product.
It didn't set my makeup, either. The alcohol takes away the moisture so there was not enough moisture to diminish the powderiness.
The scent was strange at first but I got used to it and kind of like it. I can see why people would not like it. If you're not an herbal person or if you only like fruity and floral scents, you will not like the scent.
I just think there are other better toners that work better in terms of moisturizing and setting makeup.

Perfect traveling companion! Great for those hot, humid days when your skin feels parched and dehydrated. I keep one in my car, another in my day tote, another in my desk drawer, and a fourth on my nightstand. This product smells amazing, although a bit too medicinal smelling for some. I love it! Revitalizes & refreshing, reminds me of a spa every time I spitz it.....

I've never owned a beauty elixir before, but I love it. I laughed (and agreed) with the other reviewer who wrote that she didn't know what it did, but she loved it. It is my first and only Claudalie product. It is great for mid-day hydrating at work and air travel alike. Feels like water going on and does not leave any residue. I personally like the scent, although at first I thought it reminded me of my grandmother! I now carry it everywhere in my purse. I've purchased the smaller bottle twice and I think next time I'll splurge on the bigger bottle (a better price ounce for ounce anyway).

I swear by this product! I have a bottle in every handbag. I use this in the morning before I apply my makeup for a soft, radiant glow. This will tighten your pores and make your skin look luminous. All you have to do is spray this throughout the day and you will look refreshed and radiant. I have turned so many people on to this and, once they try it, they are hooked. You will definitely notice a change in the texture and appearance of your skin and so will everyone else!

Hands down the perfect pick me up for your skin. It feels cool and tingly on my skin, and feels very light weight and refreshing on the skin. It lightly moisturizes and is great under makeup, or in the middle of the day when you need to wake up. I'm addicted to using this product and doesn't cause me to break out. It tightens my skin and gives me this amazing glow.

Comments about Caudalie Beauty Elixir, 1 oz:
I have to chuckle a little as I write this review because I'm not quite sure what this product is supposed to do. I bought it because it perfectly matched my price point to meet [$] and I'm a beauty junkie anyway so I found no harm in trying it out. Anyway, I read the back of the bottle and decided to give it a spritz before make-up applications. Anyhow, I have very dry skin that tends to get a little red and irritated and blotchy. I don't know exactly what this product is supposed to accomplish, but I do find that giving my face a spritz of this before applying moiturizer and makeup has a rather soothing effect. It preps my face well to accept makeup and I feel like it helps my make up go on more smoothly. I also feel that it tightens up my pores. Either way, I'm going to keep using this until I run out and I think by then I'll have a better idea of whether I want to replace it. I do really like it though. If anything, it seems like a little touch of self-pampering before getting my day started~

Comments about Caudalie Beauty Elixir, 1 oz:
I fell in love with Caudalie when my sister introduced me to it years ago while we were vacationing in a particularly muggy climate and the sensation of the mist was immediately gratifying. It's great to set your makeup, remove the sometimes "too matte" finish that blares "made up" in favor of a fresher more natural appearance. My friends and I refer to it as our "dew" - a finish to my routine without which I can not go. (I swear, that's not a double negative.) Was thrilled to learn that Drugstore.com carries this because a trip to Sephora was otherwise required. LOVE this product - one of my favorite things!

I found this product had no use and was just a waste of money. It did not tighten my pores or do anything else. Also even when I closed my eyes tight when spraying, it would still manage to sting.
