Comments about ACCA KAPPA Bioceta Comb, 1 ea:
This comb is absolutely gorgeous - crystal clear rather than white (as it appears in the the product image) - but otherwise very 'vintage'-looking: as sturdy as a Cadillac but also extraordinarily lovely to have resting on your dresser or artfully tucked into a shower caddy. It reminds me of some of my grandmother's expensive combs from the 1940s and prior; I'd love to know if Acca Kappa has been around that long.
Speaking of my grandma, she'd appreciate the fact that this thing is *strong* - it's been banged/dropped/flung around in my porcelain tub/shower for the past four or so months without breaking (makes me curious about what the other reviewer was doing with hers! :O), and the two or three infinitesimal scratches I've found since then were sort of magically whisked out of the acrylic (lucite? - something very *thick*, at any rate) with a bit of thumb-rubbing.
Finally, and perhaps most importantly, I have mid-back-length, very thick, unruly hair, and this comb flies through it like butter (in a way that my husband's less expensive six-in-a-pack combs don't). I'm ecstatic that stellar-quality (and lovely because of that, rather than in spite of it) personal grooming products still exist. I've purchased another few for long-haired friends of mine, though I may hang onto one extra for myself in case beauty.com ever decides to stop carrying them. A winner.

Comments about ACCA KAPPA Bioceta Comb, 1 ea:
This comb feels a lot like normal plastic, maybe a tiny bit more flexible, but it broke much more easily. My cheap normal plastic combs never break from normal use, but this one broke in the first week - and not just a tine breaking, it was actually the thick outside part!!
For the price, I expected something a lot better.

I bought this comb based on reviews. I wasn't disappointed. There really is a difference between this and drug store combs. I'm very pleased.

As I only recently learned that one should never use a brush on wet hair, I got this comb and it is fantastic. I have long, thick hair and was losing a lot when brushing it, but the comb detangles without pulling on the hair. Excellent product.

Best comb I have ever bought. Worth the price.
Comments about ACCA KAPPA Bioceta Comb, 1 ea:
I was extremely skeptical when I bought this comb, but since I was literally pulling my hair out in clumps every time I combed my hair, I was willing to try anything. In the past, I've used de-tangling serums and sprays which made my straight black hair look oily and stringy. I get fist sized clumps of tangles at the base of my neck that I normally would have to rip hairs out of to untangle, but with this comb, a few strokes and no tangles, no pulling, no tearing and best of all no clumps of hair getting pulled out. I'm really surprised and very happy with this purchase.
Comments about ACCA KAPPA Bioceta Comb, 1 ea:
First of all I purchased this comb with my drugstore dollars. I have been using it for months, and I notice less breakage of my hair. I have really long hair (below my waist) and this comb goes right thru it,(starting at tips working up to the root.) This is a great comb and the price is even better. I would highly recommend to anyone with any length of hair.

this comb is the best! i had one for over 5 years and the only problem i have had was when my 4 year old son was using it as a hammer and broke some of the teeth. it works great on long hair to detangle! i use it with the mason pearson detangler brush.
