I decided to try this product before investing in Nioxin based on reviewers experiences (thanks reviewers!) and am extremely happy with the product. I have always had fine hair but thyroid disease for the last 10 years has made it dry, slow to grow, and ridiculously prone to shedding. In the last 5 years I've had two bouts of really bad hypothyroidism, 5 years ago I lost hair on the top of my scalp and a bit at the hairline. Some grew back with a lot of effort and attention, but earlier this year I had another really bad bout and lost nearly an inch of hair growth at my hairline. As a woman I was mortified to lose this much hair and have it be so prominently noticeable.

I've used Nioxin in the past but it was so harsh on my fine (and now colored) hair, and I wasn't happy with the scent either. Searching for a more gentle alternative led me to this product and I'm very happy!

I'm seeing significant regrowth starting in at the hairline, even hairs that have been absent since my first thyroid event. The smell is pleasant, perhaps a bit masculine but it's subtle and not present after hair dries. It's easy to use (I spray it in after each hairwash, and also at night before bed), and it doesn't take much product to be effective. It doesn't feel like I've used any product on my hair/scalp which is really nice for us fine hair gals. I've noticed more body in my hair as well, which was a surprise since I only sought the product for scalp issues!

Some reviews stated it didn't work well for the users, and I'm bummed to see that, wish everyone could have the positive experience I and other users are enjoying. Obviously each of us is different, be it our body chemistry, hair type, or reasons for trying this product. while it may not work for everyone, I'd recommend it as worth a try - if it works for you, you'll be over the moon happy with the product :)

I love, love love the scent...I wish it was sold in a larger bottle, though because I go through it so quickly...It has even inspired me to create my own rinse...The hair growth results are noticeable!

I can't say I have actually seen a major difference in my hair, as a result of using product...But I LOVE the scent!...It reminds me of childhood when my Mom would wash my hair with rosemary and nettle.

I bought 3 bottles, thinking I will have to keep using to see a result... but I saw immediate result in 1 day. Not like hair growing all over, but I do see more volume. After using this for a couple of weeks, the "Wow!" factor I saw on Day 1 is diminishing (or maybe I got used to looking at more volume?), but it is a very easy product to use; light, nice smell... I will definitely continue using it.

I struggled with hair loss that was associated with a very itchy scalp. I tried everything--changed my diet, used a variety of dandruff/itchy scalp shampoos & conditioners, used supplements (biotin, probiotics, etc).

I used to have a lot of hair, but it is very fine and stick straight. Over the course of a year I lost tons of hair, and my scalp itch would drive me nuts. I feared I would go bald.

Just using this product for the first time, I noticed a huge difference, and using it for a week (I wash my hair every other day) was like I never had a problem in the first place! From losing handfuls in the shower and after combing and blow-drying my hair, I only lose a few hairs here and there--just normal amounts, like it used to be.

It also leaves my hair very soft and manageable (I have long hair), and although I don't use it by itself (I also use Bumble & Bumble Thinning Hair Volumizing spray) it really helps give my hair body. I used to use the Bumble & Bumble product by itself, but now, with the john masters treatment, my hair is fuller, softer, and has more body.

I cannot recommend this product enough.

I have returned to using this product everyday. It is one of those products that you really miss once you stop using it. I dont know why I ever stopped. My hair is heavily highlighted and toned with a demi permanent haircolor. I am definitely in a "fall out" mode with my hair right now. Even though it looks thick, it does tend to lay really flat at my part and I have been noticing it thinning again (I periodically go through these phases). I ordered this again recently and have been using it everyday, even on my non-hair washing days. It really makes a difference in the overall fullness of my part area. It does not dry my hair out like typical root lifters and does not leave any residue. I dont know about its ability to actually regrow hair, but it definitely helps to make your scalp healthy to ALLOW new hair to grow. I sometimes feel like the mainstream drugstore root lifters just suffocate my scalp and only offer temporary volume without actually doing anything for the health of my hair and scalp. This DOES! I am glad that i am back to using this because in a few short weeks I already feel that my hair is healthier and looks so much better. The spray bottle is easy to use and dispenses easily also so that is another plus.

I bought this because my hair was thinning due to age and stress. When I initially got it, my first thoughts were to return the bottle because I paid so much but the bottle was so small (should have paid attention to the details) However my vanity and laziness won out and figured I might as well try it. After about a month of regular use I can say that I am pleased with this product. Haven't noticed any new hair growth but my hair definitely has better texture and volume. I'm pleased. Have also noticed that my fairly straight hair seems to have much more wave and body when I use this product and it does not weigh it down at all. Have not noticed the scent to be offensive or strong as another reveiwer mentioned.

I'm almost done with my first bottle and I ordered 2 more. I use it 1-2 times a week, mainly just on the top part of my head, it doesn't give me noticeable increase of volume, I have naturally very very fine hair hence nothing really makes a dramatic difference unless I perm the roots. I do see new grown hair, still very fine. So expects no magic. I will keep using it.

I use it after I wash my hair. I am pleased with it as a "Leave in" product. It does not give me a headache.

I love this stuff. I have thin, fine, colored hair. I switched over to all natural hair products all at the same time so I can't say for sure if it is this product (vs. the Intelligent Nutrients shampoo and conditioner) but my guess is it is. I have noticed a lot of new growth and my hair seems a lot thicker and a lot shinier. This product does not weigh it down or gum it up. I spray it directly on my scalp. I wash my hair every 2-3 days. I have seen a huge difference and I used to be strictly Kerastase.
