This is an AWESOME product. It goes really well with the John Masters Lavender Rosemary shampoo. You can leave it in or rinse it out. Making it perfect for travel adventures. It really does detangle like nothing I have seen, and like the shampoo, it doesn't give me acne, like most other shampoos and conditioners. I have wavy hair that I use the John Masters Sea Spray to make curlier and the Shine On to keep it shiny and soft. These products treat my hair so well, my stylist/colorist is always commenting on how healthy my hair is. I don't even comb it! I use this detangler in the shower and run my fingers through it to remove the tangles. Then I rinse it out. My hair loves it. And you don't need much, so a bottle really lasts (and I have long, fine (but lots of it) hair!).

not rich enough
smells good but doesnot detangle my fine hair. I have a lot of hair and this product doesn't get to the task. I have to use 2 diff. conditioners to get detangled

Comments about john masters organics Citrus & Neroli Detangler, 8 oz:
I normally just use any lightweight natural conditioner I can find, but my hair was getting a bit dry from using clarifying shampoo every now and then to remove build up from hard water - and I thought I should try a higher-end conditioner. This is my unexpected favorite, and I will probably be using it for a long, long time. I have thick, coarse hair that I like to let dry naturally, and I don't like my hair to be weighed down by product but I do like a soft, shiny look. This conditioner is the ticket. It's lightweight, makes my hair incredibly soft, and it smells amazing. Yes it's bottle and higher price than I'm used to - but I'm feeling so pleased with the results I'm more than happy to pay it.

Comments about john masters organics Citrus & Neroli Detangler, 8 oz:
My hair is wavy, frizzy, shoulder length & fairly thin. This is one of the best daily conditioners I've ever used and I've tried everything out there. I need moisture without weight and since my hair tangles easily something that detangles. This conditioner does all that and it is "green." I'm on my fourth or fifth bottle now.

Comments about john masters organics Citrus & Neroli Detangler, 8 oz:
I am looking for one product to condition my curly hair and help detangle while I comb through it in the shower. This product is not rich enough to be a conditioner (it never claimed to be, but I was hopeful) and it isn't "slick" enough to be an effective detangler. I had to use a lot for my very long hair. I never tried it as a leave-in product.
It smells great, though, and I love that it is all natural, but it's just not the right product for my purpose.

Comments about john masters organics Citrus & Neroli Detangler, 8 oz:
I have extremely long, highlighted hair that is brittle near the ends but I also have an oily scalp, so I condition only from the earlobes down. I found this product pretty much worthless.
It does not detangle or add shine or do anything that a conditioner should do. It even has a yucky smell.
I am giving it two stars though instead of just one because I will admit that it is better than drugstore brands. At least it doesn't harm your hair like the cheap stuff does.

Comments about john masters organics Citrus & Neroli Detangler, 8 oz:
I love this product. It actually works. I use it with the John Masters shampoo, and the only downside is that you need a lot (of both products) to do the job. But I've never found a cheaper or better made product that gets me the same results, so I'll have to continue to splurge on this, save on something else.

Comments about john masters organics Citrus & Neroli Detangler, 8 oz:
I use this product everyday in place of my conditioner and detangler. I apply it after shampooing and leave it on until the end of my shower. The one con of this product is you have to make sure you fully coat your hair for it to be effective, which can be quite a bit if your hair is long. I find that this product works better than spray-on detangers and also doubles as a lightweight daily conditioner. I also enjoy the light, fresh scent.

Comments about john masters organics Citrus & Neroli Detangler, 8 oz:
I use this on my 7 year daughter who has very curly hair/dry hair. I love the smell and that I am not putting lots of chemicals in a young girls hair. Even with her curls and knots I find it a great detangler. I put it in her hair and use a wide comb in comb through. I rinse lightly and she looks great!
Even her hair dresser has commented on how heathy her hair has gotten.

Comments about john masters organics Citrus & Neroli Detangler, 8 oz:
Nice product. Tried the sample of this, and left on my hair for 10 minutes while in the bath. It smells AWESOME, and felt light-weight not greasy. It did not perform any miracles for my dry hair, but did make it easier to brush and left it feeling all right. Would try this again.

Lightweight detangler that is perfect! Subtle scent (I really like it) and works really well--just remember to leave it on for a couple of minutes if you plan on rinsing it out. Will definitely buy again!
