Invigorate, tone and exfoliate Lemon Coffee Blossom Olive Stone Scrub is the second step in the traditional Hammam sequence. This ritual succession has been practiced for nearly one thousand years to heal, detoxify and release the whole body. Vigorously exfoliate and tone with this intensely vitalizing scrub. A deeply invigorating blend of coffee, black olive, crushed almond, sugar, neroli, orange peel, lemon rind and fresh lemon juice. Coffee contains caffeine, which acts as a strong stimulant and contains theophylline, which helps to relax muscles. Applied topically, coffee helps to redistribute fat cells and decrease the formulation of cellulite. Additionally, it acts as a vasoconstrictor by tightening oil and black olive oil are very high in oleic fatty acids, which are very nourishing to the skin. Crushed almonds and black olive stones offer an intense and stimulating massage as they are scrubbed over the body, combined with abundant and fresh essences and oils of citrus fruits to further stimulate and recharge the body. Hammam means spreader of warmth. It is the word given to a sensual bathing ritual that evolved over one thousand years and traces it roots back to the roman thermae. Circling time and space, the traditions found steeped in a present day Hammam can be experienced from the far-reaching Costa of Andalusia, Spain to the natural hot springs of Turkey, Tunisia and Morocco. This is a flow of deeply cleansing, detoxifying essential oils and plant, nut and fruit extracts, carefully chosen from indigenous ingredients for their therapeutic and healing properties. A sensual ritual of half-light, quiescence and devotion created to draw deep impurities from the body, for a warm radiance. One hundred percent botanically based and essential oil derived. Flowers hold life. Entirely free of drying agents, dyes and harsh preservatives. Made in U.S.A. |

Comments about red flower lemon coffee blossom olive stone scrub, 14.5 oz:
It stimulates circulation to area (as evidenced by temporary reddening of skin), then leaves behind moisturizing oil which then gets absorbed by the skin. The granules exfoliate. I love the smells-first coffee, then natural oils. You really don't need any post bathing lotion if you use this in the shower.

Comments about red flower lemon coffee blossom olive stone scrub, 14.5 oz:
I use this once a week as a treat, and it is just wonderful. I feel like the coffee tightens my skin, and my skin has an overall glow and smoothness to it after I use this scrub. It's especially nice if you're incorporating it into the Hammam line. The cost is high, but I guess if you are only using it once a week then it's not so bad...
Highly recommended for sure!
