This soap is big and as it lasts long it is practical. I suffer from dry skin and find this soap to be one of the beat as it is vegetable based. the scent is light and fresh. Excellent product!

I love L'Occitane products, but this soap is not on my list of winners simply because the perfume is over-powering. I actually had to get out of bed in the middle of the night, remove the soap from my master bathroom and rewash my face with something more tame so I could sleep. 'Parfum' is a fancy word for a chemically produced perfume that, in my humble opinion, should not be used in a facial soap. The fragrance in this soap most closely resembles the smell of Johnson's Baby Powder - to the tenth power! This might be okay for a teenager, but not for this 56-year-old. It's too bad about the perfume because this is otherwise a wonderful soap that does not leave skin feeling tight and dry. If you are sensitive to perfumes like I am, a great alternative is the Canus brand of Goat's Milk Soap at right around $5.00 a bar.

This soap is great, it does not dry skin at all. It has a creamy lather, and a light and clean fragrance. It is a great value, because the bar is long lasting compared to other soap bars that I have purchased.

I have been using this soap for several years. I get the reg milk soap & the lavender. It does not get any better than this. Costs more, but lasts a really long time

This soap is very good to use when shaving. It has a creamy, very moisturizing lather which does not irritate freshly shaven skin. My skin is ultra sensitive after shaving and other soaps have made it very itchy. This soap does not, rather my skin is soft and smooth. The bar will get messy if you leave it in water, but most soaps do. It is best to make sure you have a well-drained soap dish to keep it in so that it stays solid. Great fragrance -- very light. I love this product.

My favorite soap and I can't live without it. Smells wonderful, although scent
is subtle and not offensive as a lot of soaps can be....It doesn't leave
my skin dry...and I start to panic if I think I'm on my last bar. I use
this soap for showering and bathing. I also love L'Occitane's hand cream
for dry skin.

Bought this on a whim but it is surprisingly great! The smell, the feel, and the result are all great. It cleans really well and doesn't leave any residues.

I've used L'Occitane a lot over the years and this scent is my favorite. The soap has a great yet mild scent that doesn't compete with perfume etc. It literally smells like a jug of cold fresh milk. I think this is an especially good buy for summer as it is also pretty soothing. It would be a great soap to use if you have sensitive skin and/or a sunburn.

I love this soap! It's just the best...smells great and cleans well. What more could you ask for? I love that I can use this soap from head to toe! Moisturizes as well...I now mainly use this as my "winter soap" as I have found a cleanser with a fruitier scent that I prefer for summer, but for at least two years this was the only soap I'd use!

I normally use L'occitane's soaps for shower and bath - my friend uses it to wash her face as well and loves it. We are both sensitive skin; this product works just perfect!
